The university offers BTech (four-year) in nearly five specialisations at the main campus. Candidates after completing Class 12 can apply for any of the below BTech specialisations:

Candidates who have passed Class 12 with at least 45% aggregate (40% aggregate for reserved category) with Physics/ Mathematics/ Chemistry/ Computer Science/ Electronics/ Information Technology/ Biology/ Information Practices/ Biotechnology/ Technical Vocational Subject/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies can apply for IKGPTU BTech programme. 

Aspirants who have passed DVoc in the same allied sector or three-year Diploma can also apply.

The aspirant's performance in Class 12 along with their JEE Main scores and ranks are considered for admission to the BTech courses. Additionally, the student must also meet the minimum eligibility criteria. Eligible candidates with a valid JEE Main score can further fill out the IKGPTU application form online (ptu.ac.in).
