GIMSR admissions are entrance-based. Applicants must be eligible at every stage of the selection. The process for admissions 2025 at GIMSR is presented below:

Step 1: Application Process

Those who are interested in getting admission in GIMSR to study in the academic year 2025 have to start with the application process. The application form would be available on the official site of GITAM (Deemed to be University) and it can be downloaded. After filling it properly, the candidates are to submit the form via post or in person at the respective department at GIMSR. It is essential to mention, though that the entrance test fees and application should be paid online. The online bank challan has to be attached to the application form with two copies of the pay slip attached.

Step 2: Selection Rounds

The process of admission to different programmes at GIMSR is conducted on the basis of both merit and entry-based selections. In MBBS, MD/MS and BSc Paramedical, the candidates have to pass the corresponding entrance exams of the country level. Precisely, NEET-UG is a compulsory test in MBBS admission, and NEET-PG scores determine the admissions in MD/MS. In the case of the BSc Paramedical courses, one must depend on the success of the GAT (Paramedical UG) examination to be selected.

Step 3: Release of Merit List and Counselling.

After all the selection rounds, candidates who have successfully qualified will have to take part in the counselling process, which is specific to their courses. Thereafter, GIMSR will release the merit list with the names of the successful candidates in different rounds. The lucky people who see their names in the list of merits will then have to acquire their seats by paying the required fee within a certain period.
