Satisfied with the placements.

Placements: The placements are totally awesome, as some multi-national and well-known companies prepare their students for their better future and give a nice salary as per their performance in their studies and extracurricular activities. I was surprised, as even companies were hiring students who had an average score but had good sports skills and were paid quite high. Some companies, such as Laurels labs, Dr. Reddy's labs, and some other pharma companies, also hired students with a pay scale of around 3–10 lakh.

Infrastructure: The college campus area is huge, to say extreme. It's about 100 acres and has many blocks with all kinds of sports, huge grounds for cricket and tennis and an indoor stadium for games like basketball and table tennis. There are a few temples inside the campus, too. The hostels, I may say, are pretty great, as they are well maintained with quite strict security. And talking about the girls hostel, it's very secure. The rooms, which are shared between 3 and 4, are averagely priced at around 80–90k per year and a private room is around 1.5 lakh. There is no feasibility for paying guests.

Faculty: The faculty of the college are the best at teaching and are even friendly. Some are strict with the rules and regulations. As I had joined a month late, I didn't find anything difficult, either in learning or understanding the lectures, as they were so informative and friendly in teaching the lectures again and again for those who were unable to understand and learn. Because of this, I could easily link up with the syllabus that was earlier taught.

It's an amazing college in whatever aspect students can expect except for science branch placements.

Placements: MSc in biotechnology is a pretty good course, but the thing is you should be patient and willing to study further to achieve success in this field. But do not expect that you get a high salary package job after post-graduation. Placements also are not very good in GITAM. Very few students from our batch were placed, and I also got placed, but it was not a good company one, so I left it in a month.

Infrastructure: GITAM is an excellent college in terms of infrastructure. I am not a hosteler, but the hostel food is very good because I got a chance to taste it through my friends. There are many canteens in our university only, and GITAM is known for its delicious food. You can also get pizzas, thick shakes, subway, etc. GITAM has its own medical college so that it wouldn't be a problem. Labs are very well equipped, and many students from other colleges visit GITAM workshops, especially to perform the experiments in the labs. The Wi-Fi facility is a bit limited, but the library is just amazing. Classrooms are also pretty equipped.

Faculty: There is no other college in the city that can compete with GITAM in terms of teachers. Teachers are highly qualified with at least a PhD degree or post-doctoral certificates. They make the subject very easy to understand. The course curriculum is very relevant.

Other: I was always interested in the biotech course, and after a lot of research, I decided to join GITAM. But I was slightly disappointed because I wanted to pursue a job after my post-graduation, but the placements were not reliable here. Other than that, events, fests, campus, surroundings, etc., are exceptionally brilliant.

Banasthali has a good name and fame obviously. Also, if you want to do M.Sc. from Jaipur, then IIS University has the best biotech department. After that, you can go for PhD for research. NET and JRF are other options.
