It provides a good quality of education and has good placement rate.
Placements: Almost 75% of the students from our course got placed. The average salary package offered is 4 LPA. Top recruiting companies like TCS and Accenture visit our college for placements. The highest salary package offered in our course is 12 LPA. About 75% of the students from our course get an internship in various companies like IBM, Microsoft, Techimax, etc.
Infrastructure: Our college provides good required facilities like Wi-Fi, labs, library, ground, auditorium, canteens, etc. Quality of food served in the mess is not up to the mark. Medical and sports facilities are good. It provides games like cricket, volleyball, basketball and Tennis. Faculty members encourage very much for sports.
Faculty: Teachers in our department are helpful and qualified. Their teaching quality is good. The course curriculum is relevant, and it makes the students industry-ready. They are highly knowledgeable to provide the required knowledge to the students.

The college that gives us every fun, knowledge.
Placements: We had the superb placements at our campus. The companies that will come to recruit include Amazon, Deloitte, TCS and Accenture which will hire a huge volume of the students. It is such a wonderful college to provide the placement opportunities, and all the care is taken by the placement officers to train us to crack the interviews. Before every interview, they will provide the campus recruitment classes for a week and train for that particular campus which was quite helpful for the students. If we used that time properly, then we can crack the interview very easily. Moreover, in Visakhapatnam, GITAM is the best college to hire a huge number of the students.
Infrastructure: The college has a very well developed infrastructure, and the Visakhapatnam branch is spread across 97.33 acres. The university is endowed with 17 academic blocks, ten hostels, fully air-conditioned central library and the administrative blocks. The university has six auditoriums with a capacity of over 3000. The university library is known as KRC which stands for Knowledge Resource Center. The university provides the up to date computing services with the Wi-Fi facility and good technologies.
Faculty: The faculty is very well experienced and has a lot of knowledge regarding the subjects. They provide a huge amount of information regarding the subjects. Each professor holds a PhD degree in their respective branches having a good amount of knowledge. They will explain the subjects. They are very helpful at the time of the projects.
Other: Other details mean that I have to say about the canteens. There are five canteens: Bheemas, Vennella, Sairam, Papas, Pizza. Some of them provide very good food most of the times, and we can spend most of the time in the canteens. They will provide spicy food, and we can use the library all the time. There is a huge volume of the books we can use, and there is a computer facility for every student in the library.

Dissatisfied with placements in 2016. Faculty, campus life and facilities were awesome.
Placements: For placements, one or two companies only came. Coming to my seniors, out of 34, 14 were placed in TCS and Broadcom. For my batch, out of 21, 6 of them were placed in TCS. For my juniors, out of 9 people, 6 were placed in TCS. The college didn't provide any internship for M.Tech students. For 1st year, the top two or three toppers in the class get a reward amount (Rs.5000) in the second year.
Infrastructure: The facilities of the college were very good. For example- wifi (100 Mbps); the classrooms were cleaned everyday; in library, a lot of books to read- not only study books but story books, novels etc. too. Every year college-wide sports and games competitions are held. Three canteens in the campus. The food was good and more reasonable than outside. I don't know about the hostel rooms, but my friends said that they were fine.
Faculty: My experience with the faculty is very friendly and joyful. In GITAM, only fully qualified and knowledgeable faculty will be there. They teach very clearly to understand. Every prof has his own style to teach the lessons. The ratio of student to faculty is 4:5.
