Placements: Only TCS visits for placement in their KPO division.
Girls from my college had a good placement history, they joined companies like Aditya Birla, Lintus House, Ogilvy, TCS, Godrej, Tata class edge, CII, Viacom 18, Nicco Group, Karukrit, 24 ghanta, ITC, Amazon India, Telegraph, Radio Mirchi, Red FM, AB Canada and Times group. Most of them are placed in marketing, PR and client servicing department with a salary around 3 lacs per annum which is good as a fresher in Kolkata.
The job role is also promising with a good corporate exposure. Handling clients is one tough job which everyone should know full-fledgedly.
The highest stipend offered is around 10lac per annum.
Infrastructure: My college had a good infrastructure with clean benches, proper classrooms, labs, spacious library, lawns and most importantly a hygienic washroom. We had a canteen which was small but the food was economical and good for the students, we got chowmein and two-piece chicken for 30 bucks.
Faculty: The faculty was good and helpful. We had guest lecturers for special classes. There were special computer courses offered with our course under ASSOCHAM. We had sports, debates, annual function and fresher's welcome. There was a lot of security as it was a girls' college. We were given an opportunity to visit various places for social activities where we learn a lot of things.
