I am dissatisfied because of the infrastructure, lack of research, and placements in 2021.

Placements: Placements in this college are very minimal. You have to apply for them by yourself. Only a few companies will give placements in B.Com or Arts. However, there are no placements in biotechnology. There's no placement in SD college. It is only a semi-government college.

Infrastructure: Facilities include a canteen, which has the worst service. There's no Wi-Fi. Classrooms are untidy and lack cleanliness. Hostel food is quite good, and there's only a girls' hostel. The boys' hostel has been shut down since 2021 due to a lack of security reasons. Sports and games are fine.

Faculty: Teachers are old school here, with a focus on books only. They're more into school-type systems and not into research. The syllabus is decided by Panjab University and it is not up to industry level. The pass percentage is 40% and the difficulty level is moderate.

Other: The M.Sc. Biotechnology is a journey toward a Ph.D. You cannot have a doctorate without a master's. The syllabus should be regularly updated in M.Sc. and should be more research-based.

I think my college has good faculty, but there are no placements.

Placements: So there were no placement packages because I think in medical field, these doesn't happen. So I don't think my college provides placement packages for science students. I think if you are an arts or commerce student, they will provide placement packages or internship for you.

Infrastructure: Our college has labs, but equipment is not so good. Like they have good stuff but like the other day, there was only one microscope to work with. Other than that, the canteen has good food, but I don't know about the quality.

Faculty: The teachers are all qualified Ph.D. teachers. I think they teach pretty good. Sometimes they seem rude, but if you study, they will be more than happy to help. The college exams are not that hard if you study well, or do the previous year's question paper, you can pass the exams. Faculty is nice, they don't waste anyone's time and work properly. Helps in doing experiments. They are experienced.

Other: They give you scholarship, but it's not so good anyway. Other than that, extracurricular activities happen, and there are so many clubs you can join. Event happens, it's nice.
