Expensive college but with excellent facilities.
Placements: The placement regarding our course was not significant, but the placement was offered to us in different positions. Around 60 percent of students were placed in our course. Top recruiting companies were Bharat Biotech, CSIR, Serum Institute, etc. The average package was around 5 LPA.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure available for our course were excellent. The college has a Wi-Fi campus, digital classrooms, and a library with quality reference books. The quality of facilities available in the hostel was also good. Limited sports facilities were present.
Faculty: The teachers were helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. They helped us in research work by supporting us with documents and resources. The teaching quality of our faculty members was good. The course curriculum was relevant. Semester examinations were of moderate level.

An excellence in academics and high opportunities for exchange programs with foreign universities.
Placements: At Chandigarh University, almost 95% of students get placed with a lucrative package of around 5–6 LPA on average, however, the highest package offered was 12 LPA, while the lowest was 4 LPA. Top recruiting companies that come to Chandigarh University include Deloitte, Sun Pharma, Serum Institute of India, Lupin, Cipla, Cadbury, Accenture, TCS, IBM, and Google. Almost 80% of the students get internships in various pharmacological companies such as Sun Pharma, Cipla, and the Serum Institute of India. The role offered in the course is that of an Executive Microbiologist, which has an average package of 8 LPA.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of the university are excellent. It has a wide, lush green campus with many small cafeterias and two playgrounds for cricket, football, badminton, and basketball. All the classes are equipped with smart boards and projectors. Wi-Fi is installed on every floor of the departments. There are departmental libraries as well as a central library, which remains open until 10 PM. There are various kinds of reference books for the courses, along with books for competitive exams. Labs are equipped with top-notch technological instruments and machines. Exchange programs with foreign universities are one of the biggest opportunities provided by this university for each course. Hostel facilities are provided for both boys and girls and girls' hostels are specifically located inside the campus. Rooms are available in 4-sharing and triple-sharing arrangements, with both attached and common washrooms. Geysers and Wi-Fi facilities are available. A gym is also available in the hostel, which can be used in the morning from 5:00–8:30 AM and in the evening from 4:00–8:00 PM, food quality is good, with a different menu for breakfast, lunch, snacks, and dinner each day. Tea and milk are also provided along with breakfast and snacks. A medical room is available for emergencies, and ambulance service is also available on the campus. Playgrounds, common rooms, and a shop are also present inside the hostel.
Faculty: The faculty members at Chandigarh University are highly qualified and in each department, every faculty member holds a Ph.D, they teach in a very interactive way through PowerPoint presentations. At times, they engage us in seminars on various topics, which helps us understand the concepts and topics in a better way. The curriculum is designed with modern-day subjects, which help us relate to daily activities and surroundings. It aids in understanding the practical world and prepares students for the difficulties and obstacles of the outside world. The semesters are quite difficult, and each student must achieve 45% in each subject to pass.

Chandigarh University is a highly recommended university.
Placements: Most students get an opportunity to be placed in reputed and high-paying companies. The highest salary package offered in industrial microbiology is 5 LPA and the average salary package offered is 3 LPA. These salary packages are offered by various companies. Students can get jobs in the industrial sector.
Infrastructure: In our college, facilities of the hostel aren't so good for some reasons like food and security issues. Food is available on campus and in hostel canteens. Labs and classrooms are very good and have amenities such as Wi-Fi, projectors, etc.
Faculty: All teachers in our college are well-qualified. They are Ph.D. holders and experienced teachers. They are very helpful and always support students. The behavior of teachers and lab attendants is very helpful. Semester exams are not difficult if students study honestly. They get good experience here.
Other: I chose Chandigarh University because it has an excellent ranking all over India and provides opportunities for overseas study. The management system needs to be improved. Chandigarh University organises many events in a year and provides scholarships.

I am absolutely dissatisfied due to irrelevant course outline.
Placements: Around 20% of students were placed but also the irrelevant placements were there. The highest salary package was 5 LPA and the lowest was 2 LPA. Fizer was the top recruiting company. Students didn't get enough internships due to COVID but some got internships in other institutes like CSIR, NDRI, Vereka, etc.
Infrastructure: Academic infrastructure was good but chemical lab and reagent availability was low and only few of the experiments were possible in normal days. Hostel was not so good because in each room many candidates were living which makes it less possible to live. Food was also not so good.
Faculty: Teachers were enough qualified but we can't say that they were enough knowledgeable. The teaching quality is average. Course and curriculum don't seem relevant to me. Semesters exams are not that difficult. They are simple and short, students can pass the exams easily. The pass percentage was 60%.
Other: I chose this course because I want to pursue an industrial as a senior supervisor in companies like Vereka. First of all, I want the relevant course structure should be built and in the second year, there must be industrial training. Fests are organised every two months. Scholarships are also there for the students who give the CUCET exam. Extracurricular activities like dance, singing, modeling, painting, and Science day project exhibitions are also there.

It depends upon your cv, while the course is very good, but if your college reputation is not good or your academic performance is poor then you should not expect a good placement.
