Gce salem- a place of happiness.
Placements: It's not so special as other private colleges. They give money for the companies for their placements. But it is a government college. It does not provide good placements. But a lot of valuable knowledge. It provides a lot of practical knowledge by providing very good laboratory practices.
Infrastructure: As it was a government institution. It has lot of area which brings very good infrastructure, very good laboratories. It has good natural surrounding and environment. With more than 5 grounds for hockey, cricket, football etc. So it is very good in infrastructure. It is so good for those who wish to join an Eco friendly college.
Faculty: As it is government institution, it accepts only staffs with lot of knowledge in the subject deeply, by the examinations such as TRB, GATE etc. And our college provides six engineering courses such as Civil, Mechanical, Computer Science, Electronics and communication, Electrical and electronics, and finally Metallurgy. Metallurgy is very good, rare course present only in two engineering colleges in Tamilnadu.
Other: Every department conducts it own fest and symposiums every year, with the help of students. These are the opportunity for the students to improve their management and leadership skills, it provides very fast Wi-Fi around the campus, good natural environment, this year with help L&T, we have planted more than 300 trees around the campus. All are requested to join in any kind of sports to improve their fitness. It provides BC/MBC scholarships and SC/ST scholarships.

It was the best college with a good study atmosphere.
Placements: Almost 70% of students in 2021 civil batch were placed through campus placements. Civil students got opportunities from IT companies also. Aarbee Structures, Byju's, Infosys, Tata Consultancy Services, etc., were top recruiting companies with good salary packages.
Infrastructure: All collections of syllabus-related books were available in the library. There was Wi-Fi with Unlimited data provided on campus. It was available in each corner of our college. All classrooms were digitalised. The girls' hostel was around 200 m near the college. The boys' hostel is little far around 2 km. But we had a college bus service to drop. Food and accommodation in the hostel were 100% clean and hygienic. Nice varieties of food were served. GCEk promoted all kinds of sports activities and they conducted technical and non-technical competitions which boosted our talents. The canteen was also available on campus.
Faculty: Teachers in our college were very friendly and supportive with great teaching skills. All practical and theory lessons made each student industry-ready. Pass percentages and syllabus were followed by Kerela Technical University.
Other: It was a good college not only for a 4-year degree but also for our life. If any student gets confused to choose a college for their B.Tech in Kerala, GCEK is the best. You can join it without any doubt.

A beautiful college that can make you successful, and cheerful, and which brings u life.
Placements: Around 50% of the total strength got placements yearly. For our branch, the highest package obtained is 15 lakhs per year. The lowest package is around Rs. 22,000. Shobha Construction, Aarbee Structures, and L&T are the top recruiting civil-based companies. Companies also provide internship opportunities for those interested.
Infrastructure: Telling about infrastructure, our college is top-rated. Classrooms are provided with projector facilities. There are seminar halls and placement halls, which are well-maintained. Also,o for practical studies, there are many more labs like the MT lab, the GE lab, the CSA lab, etc. There's a huge library in our college, a main library, and several department libraries are also there. The hotel facilities are also good. Especially the college canteen provides us with a special treat of meals every day.
Faculty: There are permanent as well as guest teachers there. They are supportive and help one to improve over knowledge. Talking about the course curriculum, it was quite difficult to study, but as I struggled more and put effort into knowing it more, it seemed to be an important one. Gradually, we are ready to work in the field by our final year. Semester exams are done strictly. Malpractices are strictly prohibited. KTU conducts the exam, and it may be difficult or sometimes average level. 80% is the pass percentage of our branch.
