Established in the year 1845, Grant Government Medical College, Mumbai with its wide variety of choices, offers to its students’ specializations in various fields such as Cardiology, Neurology, Biochemistry, Perfusion, Radiology, Anatomy, etc. This helps train the students for better job opportunities in future and join some of the top hospitals to give services. GGMC does not hold any special placement process for its students, however, 1- year internships with stipend are provided to students at Sir JJ Group of Hospitals after the course completion. After the internships, students can join their preferred hospitals for job opportunities.
Grant Government Medical College, Mumbai accepts different entrance test scores for admissions to different courses such as NEET for MBBS, NEET PG for MD, MS and PG Diploma and NEET SS for DM and M. Ch. Courses. Admissions to B.Sc. Programs are based on the previous year qualifying examination (12th/ intermediate). There’s no provision for direct admission to courses, however, the college can announce a mop- up round after the release of 2- 3 merit lists. The mop- up round will be conducted online for all the vacant seats but the final admission will be confirmed in physical presence only (offline).
