Absolutely satisfied because of faculty, good placements and good infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: There are about 400 students placed in this course. The highest package offered is 8 LPA, and the lowest package is 2 LPA. The top recruiting companies are TCS, HCL etc. The course helps us tackle the current marketing situations and helps the students to become good marketers.

Infrastructure: The classrooms are well designed and ventilated. The walls of classrooms are well painted. It also contains smart boards and projectors. The library provides a variety of books which help the students to learn a large spectrum of knowledge. The sports facilities are great.

Faculty: The teachers here are very helpful, qualified, and have great knowledge about the subject they are teaching. The quality of teaching is good. This course helps the students to tackle industry problems. The semesters are easy to pass in this college. The pass percentage is above 80%.

Other: I chose this course because of the future requirements of marketing in different sectors of economy. Practical knowledge will help to improve this course.

Our college provides a great infrastructure and atmosphere. The campus is good.

Placements: About 50% of the students from our course got placed. The highest salary package offered is 2.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies like Wipro, TCS, Mr. Cooper, etc., visit our campus for placements. All students got an internship in various companies like small start-up companies. Top roles like marketing executive and marketing manager are offered to the students. Marketing is a day to day work, and without that, there is no business.

Infrastructure: Our college provides facilities like Wi-Fi, classrooms, a library, labs, seminar rooms, etc. The quality of the food served in the canteen is the worst. Sports and games are of a high standard.

Faculty: Teachers in our college are supportive. They have a good teaching quality. The course curriculum is relevant, and I think it makes us a bit ready for industry. Exams are not much difficult, and it is easy to pass. The pass percentage is 40%. Professors make students study according to their mindset. They do not rush in doing things. Faculty members encourage in starting a business and approach to be an entrepreneur. They conduct more seminar sessions with a businessmen trading expert, etc.

Other: I have chosen this course because I had no option, but this course has a future. Almost 20 papers in all specialisation are the same, and 5 to 6 papers only change according to specialisation.

A college with good infrastructure but poor faculty members.

Placements: The percentage of students who got placed is very low. The highest package is 2-3 LPA for our department. Recruiting companies are Accenture, Cognizant, HDFC, and many more. The jobs which is offered are more likely junior roles, my seniors mostly got junior roles with approximately 2 LPA to 3 LPA packages.

Infrastructure: To be honest, the content that is being taught to us is very outdated and so are the professors. Whereas hostel is very poorly managed, most of my friends shifted from college hostels to private PGs. Food is horrible and no sports activities are conducted.

Faculty: Teachers in our department are very poor, to be honest, the quality of teaching is very poor. I feel that I know more than them. Course curriculum which is being taught is also very outdated. Since the curriculum is very outdated, it is very easy to score good marks.

Review of Guru Nanak College.

Placements: There are about 70 students in our batch. We are the 1st batch in marketing management. Many medium scale companies visited our campus for placements. The salary offered ranges from Rs. 9,000-15,000 per month. Roles offered were as freshers only. Some top recruiting companies like TCS and Infosys visited the campus for recruitment, but only a few students got placed in them. As this was a new course, it was a little bit drawback to us. Internships were mostly preferred in marketing-related companies and showroom as we are MM students.

Infrastructure: Our college provides a good computer lab and a huge library on campus. Many books related to commerce were available in the library. Guru Nanak College had its boys hostel on the backside of the campus. When I was studying, our college has an old building. But now, they re-built it, and it looks great.

Faculty: I was a second shift student in the college, and second shift staff members were very experienced. Most of them are good lectures, but a few are boring. They all were highly knowledgeable. Some professors have released some commerce and accounts books which are very famous in Madras University.

Other: I have chosen this course because it was a new course. Many people said that it is very easy, and it was true. For many subjects, we don't have volume 2 or part 2.
