Review of Guru Nanak College.

Placements: There are about 70 students in our batch. We are the 1st batch in marketing management. Many medium scale companies visited our campus for placements. The salary offered ranges from Rs. 9,000-15,000 per month. Roles offered were as freshers only. Some top recruiting companies like TCS and Infosys visited the campus for recruitment, but only a few students got placed in them. As this was a new course, it was a little bit drawback to us. Internships were mostly preferred in marketing-related companies and showroom as we are MM students.

Infrastructure: Our college provides a good computer lab and a huge library on campus. Many books related to commerce were available in the library. Guru Nanak College had its boys hostel on the backside of the campus. When I was studying, our college has an old building. But now, they re-built it, and it looks great.

Faculty: I was a second shift student in the college, and second shift staff members were very experienced. Most of them are good lectures, but a few are boring. They all were highly knowledgeable. Some professors have released some commerce and accounts books which are very famous in Madras University.

Other: I have chosen this course because it was a new course. Many people said that it is very easy, and it was true. For many subjects, we don't have volume 2 or part 2.
