How I see my college, Hansraj.

Placements: If you're Hansraj, then definitely you get an internship very easily because there are lots of societies which help you grow the way you want, even help you get placement, but getting a job, generally most corporations refer to the B.Com (Hons) than the B.A. programme because of its specialisation, but still B.A. programme students place on average of 7-8 LPA.

Infrastructure: The boys' hostel is not allowed due to going under renovation, otherwise the whole college has access to their classrooms, and canteens are even cheaper, and the gym and sports are all good here. For the gym, you have to pay Rs 600 to get access to monthly classes. It feels a little bit old because Hansraj is situated in early independence times, otherwise, everything is good.

Faculty: Actually, teachers are very good and helpful as well, but still, many teachers are like we can't say. The course is relevant because it's per NEP and helps you make multidisciplinary but still opt for B.Com (Hons) because of many reasons, because companies aren't aware of this course, and it's hard to get a scholarship with this course.

Other: As I have to do CA, I opted for this course, but it's better to opt for B.Com (Hons) because there are a lot of baseless subjects you have to study, like ge, and some other subjects are not helpful. Removing Hindi in ge course makes course better, and other things are top-notch here.

AN overview of Hansraj College.

Placements: Commerce students do get good placements from Hansraj College. Our college also makes great options for UPSC government exams and further studies. Many students end up getting admission in IITs and similar good institutions. I will proceed with doing CA or something similar.

Infrastructure: In the entire north campus, our college has one of the best infrastructure. Facilities of Wi-Fi, labs, classes and library are good but the Physics labs are not much good. Classes do have ACs and the library is very good. Hostel facilities and canteen are present in the college.

Faculty: The teachers are helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is overall great. The course is curriculum relevant but it does not make the students industry ready. Semester exams are not too difficult but it is hard to score good marks in them.

One of the best colleges in Delhi University.

Placements: Approximately 40–50% of the students were placed. The highest package offered in my course is Rs. 15 lakh. And the lowest may be 7-8 lacs. Top recruiting companies are coming like Jio and Tata. Most students got internships from courses at companies like Reliance. The college invites top companies for internships.

Infrastructure: Hansraj College's infrastructure is well maintained, and it has one of the best libraries on the Delhi University campus. Wi-Fi is available in the library, but it does not work throughout the college. Each department has its own lab, and the hostels are good, but there are only 300-350 seats in the hostels for students. The canteen is far superior to other colleges, with reasonable food prices, and medical facilities are also available.

Faculty: Hansraj College teachers are too helpful, well qualified and knowledgeable. The college also invites guest teachers for teaching experience. Yes, my course curriculum is relevant. The semester exam at Delhi University is not too hard; the paper of the exam is made according to all students capabilities.

Other: I chose this course because only in this course of the B.A. programme did I get placement. The best thing about my course is that I am a humanities student but I also have good knowledge of commerce. Fest at Delhi University is amazing.

Absolutely satisfied with Hansraj College.

Placements: Hansraj College is a good college, with diversified crowd. In B.A. programme, we have around 500 students enrolled, with a placement of around 21 LPA. The average package is 6 LPA. D. E. Shaw, and Delloite are our top recruiters. Around 80% students are provided internship.

Infrastructure: Library, classrooms, and other resource centres are really good. Wi-Fi facility is available all over the campus. Canteen food is really good, at affordable rate. Medical facilities are also provided by the college. Ground is good, and almost all the games are played.

Faculty: The teachers are well qualified, with Ph.D, and are knowgeable. They are always there to mentor students, and help them. The curriculum for B.A. courses could be improved. Semester exams are a bit difficult to qualify.

Other: I have chosen Hansraj College, due to its popularity in the north campus of Delhi University. The college has provided me the opportunity, to grow with the help of diversified crowd and college societies.

I am satisfied with its faculty members but not satisfied with seniors.

Placements: Our course is a new course which is come into light in 2021 during covid 19, so students have a batch of 2021. It is placements course as students study commerce and economics in this course. Students have internships fair every year and can get internships according to their skills.

Infrastructure: It provides 2 computer laboratories, 3 blocks like block A which is the main block, then blocks B for botany and the block C for discussion classes and society works, students have a library which has two blocks one for science, and one for arts and commerce where students can sit and study during college hours. Students have a huge ground that has a basketball ground, volleyball court, and football ground. It also provides a badminton and table tennis court.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful, and they are willing to help students. They are focused on studies as well as on personality. Our course is practical, and this has a lot of practice implications as well as many case studies, students know a lot about the industry and how practically work is done.

Other: I just want to explore myself and plan to do MBA as my masters as this course helps me to understand MBA and other things also. Some fun like fests and programs that excite students should be added by the management, and I feel like I am at a place where everyone is running for success without defining it. So also students have to take part in societies that make their college life much better and excited.
