Being under the umbrella of Delhi University, Hindu College has a life of its own. The college is known to conduct multiple fests throughout the year. The college is visited by great film personalities and several other dignitaries. For a fresher, the college conducts a fresher's party and also motivates the new students to attend the orientation conducted on the initial college days. Admission to all the courses is entrance-based. While Hindu College accepts CUET UG exam for admission to its undergraduate courses, such as BA, BSc and BCom, admission to all the PG programmes will be subject to the CUET- PG exam starting admission 2023. The institute along with DU started accepting CUET UG starting 2022 and the CUET PG from 2023 session onward. Before this, admission to UG was based on merit in Class 12 and PG admission was mostly subject to DUET exam previously conducted by DU.
