M.Com. in Business Management - Batch of 2025

Great Environment, Huge Campus, Good Place to Make Your Future and Memories
Placements: The students haven’t been placed yet as they are in their final year, but we have the opportunity to opt for internships provided by the placement cell and later convert them into job offers. The average package ranges from 5-9 LPA. Top companies include Deloitte, Deloitte USA, KPMG, EY. Most of my batch is focused on PhDs and CA Inter examinations, but 20% of the students are doing internships at various companies. Roles offered include Business Development Executive, Copywriter, HR Intern, Key Accounts Manager, Social Media Marketer, and Graphic Designer.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is adequate; the classrooms and Wi-Fi are in good condition. The library is massive, and the amount of books and information available is quite helpful. You also get access to certain platforms that assist with research papers and theses. Other facilities, such as the hostel, are up to the mark and are renovated regularly, most recently last year after reopening post-COVID. The canteen is also good; the food is worth the price, which isn’t too high, taking into consideration that students might not have a large budget. The taste is also good.
Faculty: The professors are well-qualified and able to teach effectively. They take their time to get their points across, with Dr. Atif being the best, as he puts in the most effort to improve his students’ knowledge. The curriculum is relevant but needs some updates to meet industry standards in technical aspects. The difficulty of exams depends on the caliber of the batch and whether the teacher has spent adequate time explaining the syllabus. If you have paid attention in class and are even a little informed about the subjects, you can score average marks with two days of practice.
Other: The NIRF ranking and A+ NAAC accreditation influenced my decision. The ROI is well above average compared to other institutes, and the diversity of students from all over helps you make real connections to different parts of the country, along with some foreign students. One thing I would change is the amount and level of fests. You can expect around 6-7 university-level fests or events with thousands of people, along with some minor ones. I would like to increase this to get better participation and interaction with other colleges and universities.

M.Com. in Business Management - Batch of 2019
4.4

Real experience in Jamia Delhi.
Placements: College is very famous for placements, but for this course, placement is not that great. During our final year, Samsung, Kotak Mahindra, DMI Housing Finance, and Acxiom are top recruiters. The placement process is very tough—4 rounds need to be cleared, and the 5th round is an interview. The lowest package is 4 lakhs. Internships are offered but at a very low stipend, nearly ₹8,000. For experience, many students complete internships; it will add an edge during interviews.
Infrastructure: The college has a beautiful, green campus. Because of regular protests, uneven activities, and politics, the college becomes a headline. The college needs renovation—classrooms, equipment, chairs have become old and need to be replaced. We have multiple libraries and advanced labs, yet there are fewer seats available in the library. Taking admission in the hostel is difficult and needs juggad. There are limited seats; admission is given based on interviews and many factors. Sports have an indoor badminton court, cricket pitch, basketball court, volleyball, and an indoor sports club. The canteen renovation work is completed; it recently started.
Faculty: Some are permanent teachers, and some are visiting faculty or guest faculty members teaching us very poorly. Management here is very slow, and there is much politics in teachers' and students' minds; it creates many difficulties. The course is well-structured; it is better than many B-school curricula. A mixture of finance, accounting, and purchase makes us industry-ready. Semester exams are very difficult; passing needs tough studies.

The campus life is great. It provides good placements but faculty members are not good.
Placements: Around 20% of students are placed in our course which is about 8 students out of 40. The highest salary package offered is 5.5 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 4.5 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Deloitte and USI. Almost 15-30% of students get internships in different companies. The top roles offered are tax consultant and financial analyst.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are very poor in terms of infrastructure, poor ventilation, and room temperature. In summer it is very tough to take classes, and there is no departmental library only a central library is available which is great. Wi-Fi is not accessible easily and there is a procedure to access it. The quality of food is good.
Faculty: Faculty members and the administration of this college are the worst. There is the only teacher that is excellent in teaching and every other aspect. Otherwise, they do not put effort into and do not bother about students' opinions. The course curriculum is good. Semester exams are on moderate level.
Other: I opted for this course because of my earlier education in commerce. I wish to improve many things such as teachers and administration. I was also given scholarships through NSP.

Review of Jamia Millia Islamia [JMI].
Placements: Top recruiting companies like Samsung, Wipro, Innovaccer, Springboard, OYO Rooms, and UnitedHealth Group visit our college for placements. Placements are very good but not excellent because many of my friends did not get any placements from the college. But except for the placements, the college is excellent.
Infrastructure: There is a clean environment in the hostel. Easy to access labs and library. There are ample facilities, comfortable classrooms, an auditorium, labs, good and well-maintained infrastructure, and high-speed internet on the campus. Our college also has its own sports complex in which we get basketball, football, cricket, and many sports infrastructure.
Faculty: Faculty members in our college are very good. The course curriculum is relevant and good but not exactly the best. The course curriculum is designed very well for the overall development of students. Teachers are well-qualified and experienced, apart from that they are extremely friendly and helpful. We have very good professors who are the best in their respective fields.

Really good infrastructure and crowd.
Placements: Our batch had 42 students out of only 2 got placement. Placement percent is only about 5% the highest package offered by Deloitte is 6L per annum the lowest package offered was 2.4L per annum Top recruiting companies are Deloitte, Toppr, Tata consultancy Internship offered are a lot like, TCS, Indigo, Techjokey Account executive, Insurance, marketing .
Infrastructure: Almost all courses except microbiology and MBBS Wi-Fi, sports, labs, library all are available All qualities are good, there is ansari health centre for medical facilities, sports complex also there for all games,4 canteens are there one is central canteen.
Faculty: Almost all teachers are supportive and helpful except some Exams are not very difficult but if one study it very easy To pass the exams one should paas the internals separately and in main exams one should score 40% There are 3 sessional conducted out which two best are considered.
Other: Because the college crowd is very supportive and there is no ragging in concept some may think it is muslim University but there is no such discrimination .

Jamia has a very good department for commerce and business studies but having studied in both DU and Jamia, I think DU provides you with more exposure. The curriculum in Jamia is quite old and there is no industry interference in studies unlike that in DU. Therefore, I would suggest you to go to DU
