Generally admission in various courses  at  Hindu College is based on entrance exam (CUET) and merit based. Hindu college almost offers all the courses. Hindu College admission for UG courses (as per DU) will be through Common Seat Allocation System of the University of Delhi. But, at first, it is necessary that aspirants opt for DU during CUET form filling and later apply on the CSAS portal to be eligible for admission. Step 1: After the declaration of the CUET UG exam, register on the DU CSAS portal in multiple phases.

Step 2: Submit College + Course combination preferences in the order of priority on the CSAS dashboard. Here student must select their preferred course and Hindu College as the option. 

Step 3: The University will release the dates for DU CSAS Seat Allocation Lists for all categories. 

• The "freeze" option in seat allocation for CSAS (DU) is to be selected by the students to confirm their admission choice to the allocated college and course at DU.
• If candidates are happy with the assigned college and course, they can freeze the request through their dashboard.
• Once they select this option, they will not be considered for "upgradation" of choice in further rounds of CSAS.
• Candidates must only select this option only if they are satisfied with the allocated seat and want to take admission to this course & college
• If they do not choose to upgrade or freeze your admission, their current status will be maintained.

Step 4: Once the candidate "Accept" the provisionally allocated seat, the concerned college will verify the eligibility and documents uploaded by the candidate online. The college has an option to 'Accept' or 'Reject' the admission of the student basis the verification. 

Step 5: Once Hindu college accords the approval, candidates will have to pay the 'Admission Fee' to confirm their seat. 

On the basis of the availability of seats due to rejections, cancellations, and withdrawals, DU colleges may announce multiple allocation rounds. The University of Delhi will display the vacant seats on its admission website (admission.uod.ac.in) before every allocation round.

CUET scores are used for admission to various universities/colleges that candidates has applied for while filling the application form. Candidates must download and take the print of the CUET 2026 results when released. CUET UG 2026 exam will be held from May 11 to May 31.

Students who belong to the General AI category, the minimum required CUET UG cutoff score for the BA (Hons) course was 480.32 during the Round 1. The maximum required cutoff score for admission was 950.58. Hindu College BA (H) cutoff ranged from 480.32 to 950.58.

The average package recorded during placements 2025 was INR 11.4 LPA. In 2023, the average package received by students was 10.4 LPA.

The closing cutoff for BSc (Hons) in Physics stood at 99.66% and for BSc (Hons) in Maths, it stood at 99% in 2021. However, starting 2022, the university and its affiliated colleges, such as Hindu stopped releasing the cutoff scores based on Class 12 scores obtained by the students. Admissions now are subject the scores obtained by the students in the CUET UG exam. Those who qualify the exam as per the scores required for DU admission (and to its affiliated colleges) are required to register on the DU CSAS portal for final seat allotment.

While this DU-affiliated college accepts CUET UG exam for admission to its undergraduate courses, such as BA, BSc and BCom, admission to all the postgraduate courses is subject to the CUET- PG exam starting admission 2023.
