Hindu College- Why it should be a choice.
Placements: The placements from the statistics department have always been pretty good as the students master their skills of statistics along with consulting and financial knowledge from various societies. Top recruiters are from Big 3 and Big 4. Approximately 75 percent of the students are placed.
Infrastructure: Airtel's network is the best working network in the premises. The college Wi-Fi works pretty smoothly for all networks. The library has modern computers and an AC/Theater. Boys PG is under construction as of now (2026 Feb), and the girls' hostel is pretty good and strict. Both canteens are nice and affordable.
Faculty: Teachers are very much qualified and trained professionals. They assist not in knowledge-gaining but in career building. Semester examinations are decently difficult, they push you to your limits while expanding them. Most of the students pass the exams.

I absolutely love the college.
Placements: The number of companies that come for placements and internships is increasing every year. The average package for placement is 24.8 LPA, which is quite good. The major companies that come for placements are DeShaw, NwN, and FutureFirsts. The top roles that companies come for are consulting, marketing, and finance-related.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is best, according to me, among all the north campus colleges. The college has various facilities. However, there could be better Wi-Fi services. The college has two canteens, both of which serve food that is affordable and fresh.
Faculty: The curriculum of the course is very descriptive, and it does make you somewhat industry-ready, given that you take part in societies. The semester exams are moderate level, they are mostly predictable. However, there could be more practical knowledge in the course. The teachers are helpful.

Hindu College, University of Delhi overview.
Placements: The placement ratio is quite high, with over 90 percent of students either placed or pursuing higher studies. Last year, the highest package was 24 LPA, the median is 9.6 LPA, and the lowest is 4.2 LPA. Mostly consulting firms hire the students. On-campus internships are quite low, with only 6–7 students out of a batch of 120, as most prefer off-campus internships.
Infrastructure: At Hindu College, the boys’ hostel is still under construction. Overall, the infrastructure is a bit worn out. Wi-Fi speed is low, and classroom benches are not very comfortable. However, the campus is regularly maintained, and the newly constructed library has almost all the required books and a good environment for studying.
Faculty: Most of the teachers are really helpful, well-qualified, and extremely nice. They provide almost all resources and cover all topics thoroughly. The curriculum is very relevant and helps make students industry-ready. The pass percentage is also average, around 80 percent.

My college is NIRF rank 1 for a reason and I'm absolutely satisfied with it.
Placements: Our placement cell is very hardworking and diligent in the way it functions. Placement statistics have been increasing every year with more and more companies visiting our college. Mostly students aiming for placements get placed with the highest packages going to about 25 LPA.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is top-notch with state-of-the-art facilities, great classrooms, and clean washrooms. We just had our library renovated and new sections were made with digital access improved. The food in the 2 canteens is hygienic, healthy, and tasty.
Faculty: Our faculty department is amazing and extremely knowledgeable. My course (Statistics) is extremely relevant for today's AI world. The semester exams are fairly difficult as they should be so that we the students could learn. It definitely makes us industry-ready.

It's an amazing college with well-structured infrastructure and highly cooperative faculty.
Placements: There is 90% placement. The highest package is 25 LPA, the lowest is 8 LPA, and the average package is around 12 to15 LPA. The top recruiting companies for my course are Brain, Goldman Sachs, and many others. The top roles are in management and finance.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure for our course is quite decent. The classrooms are well maintained, the smart boards work properly, there is a proper blackboard, and the benches are comfortable enough. The hostel is well-maintained, however, the food is not that good, and the students are not quite satisfied with the hostel food.
Faculty: The faculty for my course is highly knowledgeable and cooperative. They teach according to the best of their capabilities, and other exams are really good. The level of the exam is high enough, along with that, the course is correctly relevant to the statistics subject, and its curriculum is highly relevant in the upcoming industry.

Yes, you can apply for DU admission 2019 in B. Com under a regular/general category. But getting admission in DU colleges with 75% under Regular/General category can be a little difficult as the least cut off that most colleges accept is only till 84%.

Many colleges under DU offer this course. There are limited seats available for this course. For general category students, the cut-off closed above 92%. But if you belong to SC or ST category then you will get admission definitely. To download the cut-off, visit DU website.
