I am satisfied with college life.
Placements: The highest package in recent years has gone up to 12–15 LPA, and the average package is somewhere around 5–7 LPA. The usual companies include Deloitte, EY, and KPMG, along with startups. Internships are fairly common, around 50–60 percent of students do at least one internship during their degree.
Infrastructure: The classrooms are well-equipped, although ACs could be installed in some of the classes. The library is really great, with an exhaustive number of books and great infrastructure for students. A girls’ hostel facility is available, and the quality of food in the mess is great and value for money.
Faculty: The teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is good, and one can pass semester exams by relying on the notes shared by teachers. The course curriculum is relevant, although societies and other extracurriculars, along with the course, make students industry-ready.

Absolutely satisfied with my college faculty members, who have been amazing. Seniors are supportive.
Placements: 75% students are placed in top companies. Students from ECO Hons and B.Com Hons get the majority of placements from big business companies like Deloitte, EY, and others. Talking in terms of my course, I hardly hear anyone getting a big placement.
Infrastructure: Facilities provided by our college are phenomenal, and the boys hostel of Hindu College is currently under construction. The mess food of the girls hostel is good. I would say average, like I have been in touch with my female friends, so they told me about that.
Faculty: Teachers are very useful and highly qualified. Some of the teachers even completed their graduation from top institutions abroad. The semester exams are very moderate. If you have prepared it thoroughly at least 20 days before, the Course curriculum is quite relevant, as it is very manageable.
Other: Crazy Events fest and crowd are crazy, like you will definitely enjoy your time in Hindu college during the fest season.

Our college is the best college.
Placements: Our college does not provide placements and internships for our course. Our college provides placements for other courses.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are good but not spacious. Classrooms are equipped with good fans and lights. Students can study peacefully in classrooms. Around 3 students can be seated on one bench. A Wi-Fi connection is provided but sometimes the network will be slow. The huge library is available for students and it contains many books. Laboratories are good. Our college provides the best sports facilities for students. The food served in the mess and canteen is not much good. The boy's hostel is not available in our college.
Faculty: Faculty members are qualified, helpful, and knowledgeable. Our course curriculum is relevant according to NEP. Semester exams are moderate. If you study well, exams will be easy.
Other: Our course is philosophy, we can learn many things through our course. Our college should provide projector facilities for better understanding.

Review of Hindu College, University of Delhi.
Placements: It has a rich academic environment. I am from philosophy honors, and there are no placements given in this course. It is because philosophy is less popular. Philosophy is good, if students wish to study it of their own will but a career in philosophy is scarce.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is a-class. Students have a new four-story academic block where students have philosophy classes. An elevator is also available. Classrooms are spacious and fit for the class size. Laboratories for science students are excellently maintained. The canteen is great, but students have just shifted to offline mode, the food options are less but good enough. It has hygienic and student-friendly pricing.
Faculty: The professors are very kind and intellectual. In philosophy, students have Dr. Devasia, Dr. Ananya, Dr. Sumit Nandan, Dr. Krishna, and many others. The curriculum is relevant. It is fairly easy to pass if students study according to their understanding level. Rarely 3% of students get back in the paper.
Other: I opted for this course, because I want to have a philosophy in UPSC optional paper. The best thing about this course is in practical life, it polishes students' intellect and intelligence. I wish there are placements provided for this course also. The unique thing about this college is that students have a parliament that makes students know how a parliament works. The crowd is diverse, students have students from all over India. Societies work efficiently. Fests are still unknown because students have not had any till now, whereas other DU colleges are having them.

A constant love-hate relationship with Hindu College.
Placements: I am currently taking part in the placement drive of my colleagues and I am extremely delighted to experience the variety of choices we have been given. The average package starts from 6 lacs per annum, and the highest package this year has gone up to 25 lacs per annum. Companies like DE Shaw, Accenture, Ernst, and Young, Salesmen, etc. Have already recruited 10-12 students each for a single position which is amazing! The best part about the placement drive is that most of the higher-paying positions are eligible for all courses to apply. As a matter of fact, a student from my own class bagged the second the highest package of our college for 20 lacs per annum at Accenture, alongside 10 other students from Economics and B.Com (Hons) backgrounds as a regional managerial representative. Other positions offered for my course include associate research assistant, sales development associate, and actuarial positions.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is top-notch. It has class and taste. Hygiene is maintained strictly. My classes are held in the newly furnished academic block and it has everything from good ventilation to comfortable desks and more. The library is huge with three levels to it, the classrooms are spacious and well positioned, the playground is huge and well maintained, and from what I've seen, the locker rooms for students who play sports have inbuilt showers and ventilation. The food in our canteen is the most loved in North Campus! Everything is reasonably priced and hygienically cooked.
Faculty: With every college, you have both good and not-so-good professors. Similarly, I have too experienced my own share of interaction with professors who have imprinted themselves upon me and professors that I would not want to meet again. I like how some professors maintain an objective viewpoint while teaching and do not impose their biases over the students' opinions. The DU course curriculum, however, could be much better. I am of the opinion that we should be taught from direct texts rather than outdated translations which may not benefit a student's opinion in the longer run. The exams aren't as difficult to pass if one studies the given syllabus, but then again, it would have been appreciated if the syllabus was designed as such that students would not learn it to just pass the exams but to understand the concepts at the end of the day.

Join Hindu and be part of legacy.
Placements: In Hindu there is a placement cell/ society with name Odisha. It's a direct contact point for all the companies that come to campus for recruitments and I think it's a very efficient and useful society, as most students from Economics and B.Com departments who want to go to private jobs registers here. I exactly don't remember the percentage of students placed but few companies that came for recruitments are Bayne & Company, American Express, Deloitte to name a few. One of my friend Sumanyu in the year 2015 got placed in Bayne & company at a annual package of around 10 Lacs/- and as I remember the average package goes to around 8-9 Lacs. Sorry, I don't have any idea about internships as I was not the member of the society.
Infrastructure: As Hindu College is one of the most prestigious college in India, so is the infrastructure. Almost all kind of facilities which a college can offer was there for students. During first year only each and every student gets a personal wi-fi username and password, there were separate labs for statistics, chemistry, botany, zoology and physics and the air conditioned classrooms were quite big to accomodate 60-70 students easily, a big sports complex was there with separate basketball, volleyball, cricket team to represent college. Along with all these things various societies were also there for the overall development of students like Ibtida-the dramatic socitey, Srijya-the western dance society, vagmi-hindi debating society to name a few. Canteen was quiet spacious and food was good and cheap to serve all the students of various background. Hostel was quite big enough with a capacity of around 200 students where graduate and post graduate students used to live together, there were separate guest rooms for visitors and a sports room was there for indoor games like table tennis, chess, carrom, etc. Plus a TV room was also there. Overall the infrastructure was very good and I did not face any problems during my college years but yes, more CCTV cameras and more dustbins should be installed which will definitely make Hindu College better.
Faculty: Hindu is one of the most prestigious colleges we have today in our country. So to maintain that reputation very best teachers are selected who have qualified NET JRF, and have degrees from JNU and other famous foreign universities. All the teachers were very helpful and provided the best sort of guidance they can which would have helped the students. Teachers used to provide us the best of materials by themselves and also used projectors and computers to make lectures more interesting.
Other: All round the year activities used to take place in Hindu. First, there were elections for the post of Prime Minister which is unique in itself which you will never find anywhere, plus various sessions/competitions by different societies were organised and best of them was Hindu's MECCA-The Annual Cultural Fest which is DU's number one fest. Apart from these things Hindu College has a very big and powerful Alumni base with alumni like Meenakshi Lekhi (Madhya Pradesh), Subramanhiam Swamy (Madhya Pradesh), Hardeep Singh Puri (Minister of State), Vishal and Rekha Bharadwaj, Imtiaz Ali, Luv Ranjan, Manoj Kumar, Arjun Rampal, Aloknath, Gautam Gambhir, Ajay Jadega, Murli Kartik, to name a few, who used to regularly visit the college campus and motivate the students to never give up and work hard in life.

Life at Hindu College is worth experiencing. Three years here improved me a lot.
Placements: Hindu College has a placement cell which is handled by the students. Many a good Multi National Companies come to hire students from Economics and B.Com Honours. Other students from Art's streams get placed in startups. The salaries offered here ranges from 10 Lacs to 3 Lacs. Since most of the courses offered are of Humanities stream, therefore not a good percentage of students get placed in corporate.
Infrastructure: Hindu College is a government College. Considering that, it can be said that the College infrastructure is pretty good. There are facilities like free Wi-Fi, labs, sports complex, gym, girls common room, dispensery, laboratory. Some of the classrooms are air conditioned as well. The college also provide space to some of the cultural societies of the college, though not all societies enjoy this. Library is well-equipped with good books and it has air conditioner as well. The canteen offers pretty decent food at really cheap price. There are two other outlets to get good food inside the campus. Moreover, since the college is placed in North Campus there are many good places to eat food near the College. Besides small things there was no such infrastructure related issues during my tenure at the college.
Faculty: The faculty was really good, infact it has one of the best faculty in the enitre Delhi University. The teachers were all well qualified. Most of them were very helpful and always tried to motivate the students. Besides, there used to be seminars from time to time which used to supplement classroom studies. Some of the teachers were really amazing and devoted to teaching while there were a few who were not that great.
Other: Hindu College does not only confine its focus to academics but it provides a wide range of other activities as well. The students are exposed to a wide variety of platforms where they can develop their unique talents. Extra curricular activities are always encouraged. Its has an amazing crowd- a very happening and lively one. It boasts an amazing profile of alumnus as well. The college fest is one of the best fests organized by any college in Delhi. Moreover, each department hosts its own fest as well. Then there are fests organised by different societies. Besides these there are many other activities happening through out the year in the college. The college is placed in the North Campus of Delhi University, which is a very happening place to live in.
