IIIT Bhagalpur MTech is two years course offered in a full-time mode. The PG-level programme is offered across multiple specialisations, including Electric Vehicle Technology, Microwave and Communication Systems, VLSI and Embedded Systems, Signal Processing & Machine Learning, etc. MTech at IIIT Bhagalpur is offered in regular and part-time mode. The selection to IIIT Bhagalpur M.Tech programme is based on the candidate’s GATE exam score followed by the centralised counselling process regulated by the CCMT through which they are allotted a seat. The seat allotment also depends on the college cutoff and a candidate’s preference for that course and college. GATE registrations usually begin in the month of August.

The total tuition fee of the M.Tech programme at IIIT Bhagalpur is INR 2 lakh. These fees are excluded of other fees that are payable only at the time of admission. Other than the programme fee candidates have to pay a application fee for the GATE exam while registering for the exam. The applicatipn fees are : Female/SC/ST/PwD candidates need to pay INR 900 while all other category candidates will have to pay INR 1800 as application fees.
