Placements: TCS and Amazon are the top companies that recruit students for two different roles with different packages. Such companies provide internships from the pre-final year of college by providing a stipend along with work experience. Accenture, Infosys, Infytq, and Dell are some other recruiters at IIIT, Bhopal.

Infrastructure: There are five air-conditioned laboratories with 150+ systems in each lab, all of which are in good condition. Also, 4 to 5 lab assistants and coders are appointed for every individual laboratory with all the facilities. Students are allowed to use all the resources available in the college without any distractions.

Faculty: Teachers are multi-talented and are specialized in coding in all the programming languages, which adds more value to them. They play a significant role in developing the core knowledge of the students. They allow and appreciate students to develop newer codes for various newer inventions.

Overall, the college is good. Placements are still ongoing.

Placements: Placements are ongoing at our college. Some students have been placed in PayPal on campus, others in Cashfree on campus, and the process is continuing. Companies will start visiting from mid-July onwards, after which we will have a complete report of the placement updates. 20 to 30% of students have received internships.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure provided for our course is good. We have access to labs equipped with computers and high-speed internet. The Wi-Fi speed in college is good. If you want to use a library, you can access the Manit library, as our college doesn't have one. Hostel facilities are available only for the first semester.

Faculty: Teachers are good, with some teaching exceptionally well. All faculty members are qualified up to M.Tech or Ph.D. levels. Our course includes Assistant Professors and Heads of Departments. The college also offers classes in aptitude and reasoning to prepare students for industry requirements.

Other: I shared above is sufficient to get an idea about IIIT Bhopal.

My college experience and review .

Placements: This year, around 70% of students from our branch were placed, with an average package of 12 to 13 LPA from the IT branch. The highest package was around 38 LPA, the average was 14 LPA, and the lowest was around 8 LPA, which was a very good deal in my opinion. We also had a very large companies coming to our campuses like PayPal and Credit. Although, we also had a few off-campus placements from Microsoft. Companies came for various roles such as software engineer, data scientist, and data engineer.

Infrastructure: As the college is comparatively new, it doesn't have its own campus, which has its own struggles, as we have to travel very far from our hostels. Since we don't have our own campus, we don't have our own hostel and mess either. So, our college rents the hostel and mess in other colleges, which do not provide the quality of hostels according to the money we pay them.

Faculty: We have very good faculty and teachers as they are very knowledgeable and experienced. Everyone has a Ph.D. degree, which totally speaks a lot for them. I am in the IT branch, and if I look at my course and curriculum, there are a few subjects that I think are not necessary, such as engineering drawing. Our exams occur every month, which tends to have a difficulty level of moderate to difficult.

Other: I am in the IT branch and chose it because I preferred CSE, but according to my rank, I was not qualified for it. So, I preferred the second-best, which I got, IT branch. The IT branch is a very good branch and has a very good placement record. Teachers and facilities are also quite experienced and have a Ph.D. degree; they are highly educated. The other thing I like about my college is the type of cultural fest and tech fest that took place in our college.

Good placements at IIIT Bhopal.

Placements: Placements are excellent with salary package of 14.7 LPA for CSE, ServiceNow, and Amazon visited and recruited students. The highest salary package offered is 34.4 LPA to 4 students by PayPal for SDE post. The average salary package is around 14.7 LPA, and a total of 81 students got placed. Around 60% is placement percentage, the data is a little disappointing due to the recession every college has suffered from this. It will improve quickly. Before the recession, the average salary package offered was 20.4 LPA, with 100% placement. The lowest salary package offered was 3.3 LPA.

Infrastructure: First year students, it is compulsory to opt for hostel. Mess is attached to the hostel and provides breakfast, lunch, supper, and dinner for the hostellers. Hostel is inside the BHEL campus full of greenery and playgrounds, cricket, and football grounds nearby. Hostels are newly renovated for the hostellers so infrastructure is good. Guards and warden are present for any immediate need. Hostel rooms are allotted by the institute when we take admission. Food quality as usual is moderate, menu is designed to fulfill body nutrition requirements and is balanced.

Faculty: Course curriculum is up-to-date and designed to fulfill the needs of IT industry. From the first year, we are introduced to coding and web development skills. College is strict regarding academics, conducting exams whenever after the desired portion of the syllabus is complete. There are mini, mid, and end-semester exams. Faculty members are highly qualified and hold a degree from renowned college and everyone is a Ph.D. holder. Faculty members are good at teaching and practical are held whenever needed. Mini exams of 10 marks are held after a month when a semester starts.

Other: Mid-exams out of 20 are held in mid of the semester, and end exams out of 60 marks are held at the end of the semester. Campus life is good, we share the NIT Bhopal campus of 650 acres. Every facility is provided and is inside the campus, with a cafe, sports complex, library, etc. There are a lot of clubs in IIIT Bhopal some are Codame for coding, Inspire club for spirituality, and Aarzzoo club for cultural activities, dance, drama, and music. There are sports facilities as well as there are guest talks, some extracurricular activities, etc.

Absolutely satisfied because of good placements in 2023. Faculties are so good.

Placements: 85-95% students are placed. Highest package: 60 lakh Average package: 24 lakh Lowest package: 6 lakh Google, Microsoft, Atlassian, ServiceNow, etc. are the top recruiters. 50–60% of students offered internships last year. Faculty are well educated in IIIT Bhopal. 75% percent attendance criteria is a must.

Infrastructure: All hi-tech labs are available in the course. Wi-Fi range is also available in every classroom. Good facilities are available in hostels but hostels are away from college so bus service is available. Mess food is good. Medical facilities are available. Sports and games are available.

Faculty: All teachers are qualified by the best institutes and teachers are knowledgeable and helpful. Teaching quality is good. Students being industry-ready is so okay. Difficulty level is not so easy and not so hard, which means moderate. At least 6 CGPA is the pass percentage.

Other: Best placement in course. Campus crowd is so good. Events like the fests are so good. Seniors are very friendly.
