If you love mountains, valleys and spritual temples you should take it.
Placements: In Electronics and Communication its around 70-80% get placed who were eligible. Highest package is 25lakh this and overall its around 40-50lakh. Top recruiting companies are Google, amazon, Accenture, Optym, Global Foundries, Samsung E&A, Samsung R&D, BEL, etc. Associate Knowledge person, Semiconductor Engineer, Software Engineer SDE-1
Infrastructure: Wifi and lan connectivity is very fast around (10-40Mb/s). Labs are good enough and equipped with latest machinery, devices and latest version software for RTL design ,TCAD and Cadence. Latest computers with high speed processors. Classrooms are small but equipped with AC, fans and Projectors. Hostels are modern design newly build with 24/7 high speed lan, hot water and modern almiras. Each room have separate balcony. Mess food is average not that good. Medicals facility is fair. Games are average. There is only one canteen.
Faculty: The teachers are very friendly in nature. Faculties are minimum top IIT post graduate most are from IIT Roorkee. Teaching quality is above standards. Projects are given by almost every faculty in each year. Students are made industry ready like for VLSI some additional post graduate courses are personally tough in lab sessions according to the student interests. The semester exams are difficult but according teachers taught at that level also. Passing percent is recently changed it is minimum 45marks should be there for each subject from 100.
Other: Semiconductor is future of India and there will be a job boom in this engineering branch. Electronics in Nit Uttarakhand from my side is better than any other branch if you want to get in core company and higher studies. This year Cliffesto announced its fest will be organized every but after Corona this year it is heading. Sarman Foundation will be there from 2nd year students whose family income is less than 1lakh and who fell into top 10 of the college.

Pros and cons of taking admission in NIT Uttarakhand.
Placements: More than 50 percent of students were placed each year. The highest package is 24 lakhs per annum and the lowest package is 10 lakhs per annum. Samsung, BEL. I don't know much about the internship statistics. Right now, I am in the 2nd year, 3rd semester. I also don't know about the roles offered.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our department is very good; all things are available. There is Wi-Fi availability. The infrastructure of our college is not so good because we are living in a temporary campus and our permanent campus is still under construction. Mess food is average. There is no canteen inside the college. Medical facilities are good and sports and games are also good.
Faculty: Faculty members are top-notch in my department; all have done their PhDs from IITs. All are very knowledgeable and their teaching style is very good. They are preparing us for the GATE level test. The course curriculum is also very relevant. The semester exams are a bit difficult because each month there will be an exam and in mid-semester, we need to give 2 to 3 papers in a day. Except for 5 to 6 students, no one passes.
Other: When I cleared JEE and after my Jossa counseling, I got Electronics and Communication Engineering. At first, I wanted CSE, but after knowing this branch and its future outcome, I loved this course. My interest started developing in this field. The best thing is real-world applications like making circuits on the breadboard and making circuits on the FPGA board with the help of Verilog. Events are happening from time to time, but fests are not happening at a good level. It's not a crowded place, but that is the benefit of this college. This campus is situated in Uttarakhand, so the surroundings are very beautiful. Extracurricular activities also happen from time to time.

Most reviews are not good because of the campus, I agree, but other facilities are almost good.
Placements: I just consider our branch Electronics and Communication Engineering, so through on-campus placements, the colleges invite placements from various companies like TCS, and almost 25% of students get placed. The highest package ever is approximately 15 Lacs, the lowest is approximately 2 Lacs, and the average package received by students is 6 Lacs.
Infrastructure: Facilities and Infrastructure, like the classrooms, are basically in a temporary campus, but it is quite okay. There is a 24/7 Wi-Fi facility in the hostels, the libraries are open and easily accessible during the daytime. If you speak about the hostels, so the mess, the food is not good, the quality is very regarding. Even after frequent complaints by the students, there is an institute canteen available. Das Institute also has a dispensary, which is accessible 24/7. There is also a sports room and an equipment room, and students can usually take equipment.
Faculty: All the teachers are Ph.D. scholars from IITs and NITs, and they are highly qualified and eligible. Their teaching quality is also very good. The institute has a pretty fine semester academic calendar, which has all the specific events that have to be conducted in that particular semester. All the subjects taught prepare the students for future placement opportunities. The semester exams are conducted frequently, after a gap of 1 month, and the difficulty level is medium to almost difficult, and 93% of students pass the exams. Some appear for backlogs.
Other: So I chose this course just because I got it in the JoSAA Counselling; otherwise, I would have definitely chosen Computer Science and Engineering. However, I do like this course, as it provides knowledge about the various electronic equipment that is used in daily life. The Lab Assessments are also done properly. The extracurricular activities like sports and cultural activities are also performed in which students perform enthusiastically. Recently, a Techfest was organized in our college, which invited various other colleges from different states and in the USA for this opportunity. The college also provides opportunities like Intra-Nitis for different Sports and Games.

Life at NIT Uttarakhand .
Placements: The placement and training cell at NIT Uttarakhand has done great work in the past years, helping students get better opportunities in their 3rd years by getting internships from various companies to kickstart their careers in the real world. The placement rate is quite good and the average package for CSE is 14 LPA.
Infrastructure: The current NIT Uttarakhand is run on a temporary campus of the government Polytechnic College and one ITI campus at Srinagar, Uttarakhand. A permanent campus is under construction in a place known as Sumari, which is nearby Srinagar. Hostels are available for both boys and girls in the undergrad program. The facilities include bedrooms with 3 beds and tables, one social gathering area and a mess. The food is just eatable.
Faculty: Facility members are good; all have done their PHDs from IITs and other renowned institutes so they have good knowledge about their core subjects. The curriculum followed in college is old and 3 exams are held in each semester, which include two midterms and 1 end term.

If you do not get other NITs for your rank then you can take admission to this college.
Placements: It is one of the 31 colleges in India. This college was established in 2010 by the Government of India under the NIT Act 2007. The average salary package offered was 8.4 LPA. The highest salary package offered was 33 LPA. The average salary package offered was 8.7 LPA. The maximum salary package offered was 39 LPA. The minimum salary package offered was 26 LPA. It is due to the downfall of the world's economy and other things.
Infrastructure: It is a temporary campus located in Srinagar, Uttarakhand. But when you search in Google, it shows two locations one is in Srinagar, Uttarakhand and the other is in Sumari, Uttarakhand. Sumari campus is under construction, so the students go to Srinagar to study. Wi-Fi is available. Classrooms are well-maintained. There is a decent library. It is a small campus compared to other NITs.
Faculty: The course curriculum is good. Teachers are great. They are very knowledgeable in their respective subject. They conduct projects and assignments so that we can gather in-depth knowledge.
Other: It is a very good college.

Review of NIT Uttarakhand - National Institute of Technology.
Placements: Around 10 out of 18 students got placed in our batch. The highest salary package offered is 21 LPA. Top recruiting companies in the IT sector are Samsung, L&T, and Adobe. Many companies visit our college to recruit students. Our college placement cell is shifted to Dehradun which is helpful.
Infrastructure: Our college provides us with all facilities like Wi-Fi, a lab, classrooms, and a library. Our department has a good lab. The food served in the canteen is good. The food served in the mess is good. A dispensary is available 24X7. Games period is held for 2 days a week. The college organises a tournaments for students.
Faculty: Our teachers are helpful. Most of them are Ph.D. holders from IIT Roorkee. They help a lot. They have great knowledge in their domain. The course curriculum is relevant. Semester exams are a bit similar to board exams, and you have to write steps properly. They teach very well. Our teachers and seniors are helpful.
Other: The college location is good.

It is going to be a great institute in the future.
Placements: A lot of students got placed this year, especially in IT companies. The salary package offered by companies ranges from 5-26 LPA. Even Atlassian visited our college to hire students. Companies keep coming during the placement seasons with decent salary packages. This year more than 80% of students are either placed or got an internship.
Infrastructure: The only problem is it has a temporary campus. A new campus is already in progress. All the basic facilities, from Wi-Fi to labs, are available here. For sports, almost everything is available. Even there are options for trekking and camping as the college itself is in the hills.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are qualified. Semester exams are very easy to pass if you focus in the class and on notes. Most of the faculty members are friendly except a few and can guide you in any problem or situation.
Other: Our college conducts college fests, flashmobs, etc., with great planning and execution.

A budget friendly college for simple life.
Placements: The scenario is similar to every other college. There are hardly any core companies at campus, so we prepare for IT/Software companies only. ZS Associates, 10 LPA was the highest from ECE and the job profile was Business Associate. We had many companies like Capgemini, LTI, Deloite for ECE as well. Average package was somewhere near 6 LPA. The lowest package was 3.6 LPA with TCS. Placement percentage was roughly around 70%. We had mass recruiters like TCS, Infosys as well. There were few internship opportunities as well from companies like LJI, Optyum as well. Most Companies visited for SWE/ SDE, GET, B.A. BDA and Analyst job profile.
Infrastructure: College have all the basic infrastructure facilities like library, gym, classrooms, Wi-fi and well-equipped labs. Hostels are available on sharing, 3 students per room. Hostels are jot very great but not that bad. Mess food is tolerable. Students had the right to decide menu and it bas bearable. College had a canteen with budget food. There is a emergency medical room but it is not very well-equipped. They usually refer you to the nearest hospital. Sports facilities are average with basic infrastructure for almost all the major sports Badminton, volleyball, basketball court are not very great. Table tennis, billiards, chess, carrom and ludo are also available. We have big ground for cricket and football. Gym is small and lacks equipments. Atheletics are practiced just before tournament. College provide good opportunity to compete at various tournaments ( Inter NIT, IITs Sports fest etc.). .
Faculty: Teachers are qualified and helpful. NITUK has young faculty. Course curriculum is relevant for students preparing for GATE and ES. We have credit system and students can choose the subjects. Like ECE students can choose various CSE subjects if they wish. Institute organises training and workshops for placements as well. Semester exams are not very difficult if you have attended the lectures. Usually 95% of the batch passes easily.
Other: I choose NIT Uttarakhand because it was value for money. It is located in Srinagar and all the wonderful spots are easy to explore nearby. College organizes adventure activities and takes students to various treks like kedarnath, Vasudhara etc. Campus life is peaceful, not very hustling. There are clubs for almost all the genre, like literary society, music club, art & craft club, dance club, sports club. We have our annual fest, Cliffesto (though not organized since 2018). Alaknanda ghats are nearby, I often used to go there and relax. Overall campus it not very great but not that bad indeed.

Yes, you may get admission in NIT Uttarakhand with a 10328 ST rank in JEE Mains, but in the Special Round. The closing rank for the National Institute of Technology, Uttarakhand, in 2021 for most of the courses was under 10,000 for almost every branch of BTech. Therefore, based on previous year's tr
