IIIT Allahabad accpets JEE Main score for admission to the BTech courses. As per the IIIT Allahabad cutoff 2023, the Last Round closing rank for BTech ranged between 5924 and 9558, among which Information Technology was the most competitive specialisation. The Round 1 closing rank for BTech ranged between 4817 and 8428 for BTech. 

So, considering the previous year Round 1 and the Last Round closing ranks, candidates seeking admission to IIIT Allahabad must secure a rank over and above 4800 and 9600 for the General ALL India category candidates.

IIIT Bhopal BTech students received the highest package of INR 34.4 LPA in placement 2024. However, the placement rate was 60% with the average package of INR 12.33 LPA. The students that participated in placement were around 135, while 81 among that received a placement. For BTech ECE and IT, the average package in 2024 was INR 10.53 LPA and for BTech in CSE, the average package was INR 14.7 LPA.

The total course fee for BTech at IIIT Bhopal is around INR 7.2 lakh. Total fee is calculated based on annual/ semester fee available for the academic year 2023-24, hence is indicative. Students can apply to State/Central government Scholarships. Along with the tuition fee, JEE Main application fee for BTech programme is also included. The application fee are  INR 1,000 for boys and for girls, it is INR 800. 

IIIT Bhopal has three departments, including Computer Science and Engineering, Information Technology and Electronics and Communication Engineering that collectively offer a full-time UGC-approved B.Tech programme. IIIT Bhopal admission is primarily entrance-based. The candidates are selected through national-level examinations conducted by different authorities. IIIT Bhopal was established in 2017, to encourage students to pursue higher education, research, and training across various fields of Information Technology.

Talking about the placements, the highest and average package offered during IIIT Bhopal BTech placements 2023 stood at INR 60 LPA and INR 21.94 LPA, respectively. Further, the placement rate recorded during IIIT Bhopal BTech placements 2023 was 99.2%. Apart from this, a total of 105 internship offers were made during IIIT Bhopal BTech internships. Moreover, the highest stipend offered during IIIT Bhopal BTech internships 2023 stood at INR 1.40 lakh per month.

Coming to the facilities aspect, IIIT Bhopal is a fairly new institute among the 19 new IIITs established under the no-profit public-private partnership scheme set up by the Ministry of HRD. The campus of the institute is under construction. It comprises all the basic amenities, including a library, sports complex, labs, Wi-Fi, etc.

IIIT Bhopal has a sanction of around 600+ seats spread across all the specialisations offered. Courses such as BTech offer around 450+ seats spread across 7 specialisations, whereas, MCA offers 60 seats for admission every year. IIIT Bhopal offers an MTech in regular or full-time mode with the seat capacity of 60 across 3 specialisations, while for a professional or part-time MTech programme, the Institute offers 3 specialisations.
