IIIT Bhopal BTech Eligibility & Highlights 2025
IIIT Bhopal BTech is an undergraduate programme soread across three specialisations. These speciailisations include Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering and Information Technology. All these courses are offered to students interested in making a career in Engineering. Moreover, the duration of all these courses is four years and are offered in full itme mode.
IIIT Bhopal BTech admissions is completely entrance-based. Interested candidates are required to apply and appear for JEE Main. After qualifying for the exam, they are required to undergo JoSAA/CSAB Counselling for final seat allotment.
Eligibility Criteria: Twelve years of school education with 75% aggregate with Physics and Mathematics as the main subjects and Chemistry/ Biology/ Biotechnology as one of the optional subjects.

The selection to IIIT Bhopal BTech programme is based on the candidate’s JEE Main exam score followed by the centralised counselling process regulated by the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) through which they are allotted a seat. The seat allotment also depends on the college cutoff and a candidate’s preference for that course and college. JoSAA registrations usually begin from the third week of June in online mode. However, the Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB) manages the counselling process for the remaining vacant seats.

There are no separate application fees for Indian Institute of Information Technology Bhopal admissions though students must pay a registration fee of INR 1890 every year after admissions. Students must also pay the required entrance exam's own separate registration fees to the conducting body.
