at IIIT Una, Una

According the cutoff list released by IIIT Una for admission to its flagship BTech programme the closing rank for BTech in Computer Science & Engineering (CSE) in the year 2021, 2022 & 2023 was 41419, 28324 & 30243 respectively. This clearly shows that the closing rank for the CSE branch at IIIT Una increased excessively in the year 2022 with respect to the year 2021 but it couldn’t maintain that growth for very long and crashed down to 30243 in the current year 2023 which makes the lowers the difficulty level for those who are willing to enrol in BTech in CSE at IIIT Una. Also, the same trend is followed by the Information Technology branch whose closing rank in the years 2021 & 2022 was 48004 & 31492, respectively but it also slumped down to 37091 in the current year 2023. In addition to this, BTech in Electronics & Communication was no different as it also followed the graph of the former two BTech branches.

There is no such provision for direct admission in any of the programme offered at IIIT Una including the BTech programme. Candidates willing to take admission to the BTech programme at IIIT Una must fulfil the following requirements:

• The candidate must have passed class 12 with Physics, Chemistry & Maths with a minimum of 75% aggregate.
• Also, candidates must have valid JEE-Main ranks based on which they can apply for the common counselling process through JoSAA and CSAB.
• Selected candidates will have to report to the admission cell at IIIT Una for document verification and fee payment leading to final seat allotment.

There is no such provision for direct admission to the BTech programme at IIIT Una. IIIT Una accepts admission for the BTech programme based on a valid rank in JEE-Main. Candidates aspiring to take admission to the BTech programme at IIIT Una must take the JEE-Main exam conducted by NTA by filling out the its application form through JEE official website. Candidates having JEE-Main rank above the closing rank specified in the cut-off list released by the college can apply for the counselling process where they can fill their branch preferences followed by document verification and fee payment.

IIIT Una supports meritorious and various other category candidates through several scholarships. Top Class Scholarships are offered to SC Students. The SC students with a total family income (annually) from all sources up to INR 8.00 Lacs are offered various scholarships. These students will be offered scholarships on the criteria set by the college. The SC students who have secured admission in a full-time programme according to the general selection criteria prescribed by IIIT Una can apply for the scholarships. The no. The modes of IIIT Himachal admission are offline and online. Admission to various undergraduate and postgraduate courses is based on merit and entrance exam scores.
