CCMN counselling form 2026 for the special round was available online. The last date to apply for CCMN 2026 counselling special round 1 was July 18, 2026. The registration link was available online at ccmn.admissions.nic.in.

CCMN special round 1 seat allotment was released on July 22, 2026. Candidates can check the seat allotment letter through the candidates login portal.

Q:   Who is organising body for CCMN 2026?
A: 

NIT Agartala is organising CCMN 2026 counselling. The counselling process started on May 15, 2026. The authority changes every year; for CCMN 2025, it was NIT Warangal.

CCMN 2026 Choice Filling Date

Candidates were able to exercise the CCMN choice filling process from July 14 to 20. They had to complete the CCMN counselling registration and pay the fee before exercising the choice filling and locking process. In this process, candidates have to make their preference of courses and institutes on a priority basis. After filling in the choices, they have to lock their choices before the last date. Based on the students' preferences, the authority will allot the courses. However, candidates' rank in the IIT JAM exam 2026 will also be considered for the final allotment.

Q:   how many maximum institutes one can choose while filling CCMN counselling?
A: 

While filling the application of CCMN counselling, students can choose as many choices as they wish to choose from the list of eligible PIs and programs.

The online system of choice filling has been designed in such a way that it will display only those choices to candidates for which they are eligible, as per the eligibility degree, discipline, and JAM exam score. 

Q:   What to do if there is a discrepancy in the name on the certificate or JAM scorecard in CCMN document verification process?
A: 

At the time of registration applicants should write their name as filled in JAM application form. However, during document verification process candidates can give an affidavit on INR 50/- Stamp Paper stating that the two names belong to the same person and if found false at any stage then his/her seat in CCMN counselling will be cancelled.

CCMN 2026 Seat Allotment Date

The authority released the CCMN 2026 seat allotment for special Round 1 online. Candidates can check the allotment offer through the CCMN candidates portal. CCMN seat allotment is available for Rounds 1 to 3.

  • CCMN Special Round 1 seat allotment is available now. Candidates can check their status online.
  • Round 3 seat allotment was released on June 27, 2026.
  • The Seat allotment for Round 2 was released on June 22.
  • Round 1 Seat allotment was released on June 12.

Candidates must submit their willingness against the offer received. They will have to select Float, Slide, or Freeze.

Q:   Is it necessary to complete the CCMN 2026 registration process in one go?
A: 

Students can complete the CCMN 2026 registration process in multiple stages. It is not required to complete it in one go.  Applicants must ensure that they save each section of the CCMN application form.

Q:   If I apply for CCMN and fail to secure the minimum marks, will my registration fee be returned?
A: 

No. The Registration fee of CCMN is non-refundable. If applicants do not secure the minimum marks/CGPA, their seat allotment would be cancelled even if they are provisionally admitted to a specific institute.

Hence students are advised to ensure that they are fulfilling all the necessary parameters before filling the CCMN 2026 application form.

Q:   What is mode of document verification in CCMN counselling?
A: 

The document verification process of CCMN will be conducted in online mode by the participating institutes.

However, after accepting the final seat allotment, candidates will have to visit the college where they are willing to take admission, and the admission officials will verify the original hard copies of the documents. 

After verification will be done, students will be given the admission in their respective institutes. 

Q:   What is application fees for CCMN counselling 2026?
A: 

The application fees for CCCMN counselling varies for different category candidates. 

For the General, General-EWS and OBC category candidates is is INR 3,500 and that for the reserved category candidates it is INR 3,000.

Q:   If I was allotted a seat but could not respond to the query of document verifying officer, Can I participate in CCMN counselling again?
A: 

No, You cannot. If any candidate does not respond to the query of document verifying officer, their allotment shall stand cancelled. The resulting vacancy will be allotted to another eligible candidate in the subsequent round (s).

The applicant would be considered as “Not-Reported” and would not be eligible for subsequent rounds.

However, student can participate in Special Rounds.

 NIT Agartala CCMN cutoff 2026 for the EWS AI category students was 2582 for admission to the M.Sc. in Chemistry programme. This is the cutoff for the 3rd round. Hence, EWS AI category candidates need a rank of at least 2582 to be considered eligible for admission.

NIT Raipur uses the CCMN portal to handle all MSc seat allotments online. After your JAM results, you list this college as a preference on that website. The system then offers seats based on your rank in multiple rounds. You can track your application status easily through your login.
