IIIT Sri City MTech Courses & Fees 2025: Placements, Cutoff, Admission Dates

IIIT Sri City MTech is a two-year, full-time programme with specialisations in AIML and Cyber Security offered by the Department of Computer Science and Engineering. The duration of these courses is two years. Candidates can get admission to MTech through the GATE.

Eligibility Criteria:

For GATE:

• BE/BTech in CSE or ECE or equivalent specialisation

For Non-GATE:

• BE/BTech in CSE or ECE or any equivalent specialisation with a minimum of 60% aggregate or 6.5 CGPA (55% or 6.0 CGPA for SC/ST/PWD) from a recognised University

Selection Criteria:

For GATE:

• GATE
• Counselling and Admission process will be conducted by CCMT

For Non-GATE:

• Candidates having an Undergraduate degree from the CFTI institute with a CGPA of more than 8, will be selected on the basis of merit, and then they have to appear for a coding test and a personal interview conducted by IIIT Sri City.
• Candidates who do not have an undergraduate degree from a CFTI institute or graduated from a CFTI institute but have less than 8.0 CGPA will have to appear for a written test conducted by IIIT Sri City, followed by the coding test and interview.

Fee Structure 2025:

• Tuition Fees: INR 5 lakh
• Hostel Fees: INR 1.28 lakh
• One-time Payment: INR 30,000
• Total Fees: INR 6.58 lakh

IIIT Sricity maintains a good track record for placements. As per overall placement statistics, the highest package offered during placement 2025 was INR 120 LPA. The median and average package received by students in 2025 was INR 15 LPA and INR 18.92 LPA.
