Value for money institute but no campus.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available. Air conditioning is available. There is a ground with football nets. The library is available, and there are many classrooms. Mainly, the new campus is in the building phase. After that, in nearly 2 years, we will shift to the new campus. The food in the mess is okay: thali, dosa, snacks, etc.

I am dissatisfied with the faculty, except for two or three. Placement was good in 2021-22.

Infrastructure: There's no dedicated hostel, all accommodations are private. Wi-Fi is very slow, and classrooms don't have air conditioning, though the library is good enough. Labs are getting worse day by day, and the hostel provides poor facilities. There's no proper schedule, which is essential.

It is a good college for those who didn't have any other good colleges like IITs and NITs.

Infrastructure: Hostel is good and decent but students should travel by bus to go to the hostel, it is almost like 7-8 KM away from campus. On-campus hostel is still being constructed. Wi-Fi is also there in hostels, and they are working decently. Games are also good, you can play.

Overall college is good but only as it does not have a permanent campus so college life is an issue.

Infrastructure: There are 3 labs for ECE department. All 3 have devices which we need in practical examination, also all have fast Wi-Fi connections. Library is fine as it contains most of the required books we required during our course. As our college does not have a permanent campus and running on temporary campus so hostel services are provided by a third party. Hostels are too far from college, also the food quality also not good in mess.

Worth the fee and good placements.

Infrastructure: Own hostel construction is underway, and will be ready around 2026. Until then remote hostel facility is available. New director is very good and construction rate is very fast as of now. Many new things are being added to the college like sporting facilities, etc.

No campus life. Good academics and placements are improving year by year.

Infrastructure: Our campus has limited facilities, comprising 6 classrooms, 6 laboratories (3 ECE labs and 3 CSE labs), and 1 small library. The classrooms can accommodate around 90-100 students, and the labs are air-conditioned. Wi-Fi is available, and a new Wi-Fi facility has been added, which is really good; there is some extra charge for the upcoming batches for that. The library is below-par and very small. Books are available, but only a limited number of copies. The college doesn’t have a permanent hoste...

It's worth looking at one time.

Infrastructure: The hostel facilities aren't good. The college has arrangements with private hostels where first and second-year students currently reside. A paid bus commute, with fees payable to the college, is available. For internet access, students must rely on their phone's network and hotspot for laptop use. Currently, third-year students live in PGs and rented flats.

Supportive community here at IIIT Surat.

Infrastructure: Our college campus is a sort of temporary type with Wi-Fi campus, labs for CSE, ECE, and physics library. Our college doesn't have it's campus so we are staying at a hostel running by private authorities and college provides shuttle service. Sports facilities available are volleyball court, kabaddi mat, carrom board, TT table, and chess.

Review of IIIT Surat - Indian Institute of Information Technology.

Infrastructure: We do not have hostels at our college. Other things are satisfactory. Wi-Fi is satisfactory in hostels and in the college as well. Classrooms are not expected but it is functional. The canteen has been improved from the previous year. Sports and games are being encouraged now after performing so well in inter-IIIT events and successfully winning trophies.

Review of IIIT Surat by one of the students.

Infrastructure: The worst infrastructure any college in the world would have. We have 3 labs for computer science, 2 for electronics, and 1 for physics. Toilets are bigger than the library. The library of IIT Bombay is bigger than our college. The lowest Wi-Fi we have to use our mobile data and our college is built in the middle of the farm therefore even the mobile network is not working properly. There is no sports ground. The worst canteen food is provided. Our college does not even have a hostel.

College with average placements.

Infrastructure: It is currently running on a temporary campus in Kamrej. Construction has not started. It is small but has basic facilities. It has 6 labs. They are well-equipped with smart gadgets which are new. All have good and new computers with Ryzen processors.

College is good with good placements, average campus life, and encouraging faculty members.

Infrastructure: Since college is operating in its temporary campus built in Kamrej in Pasodara Gam, there is no proper building. It is of tin shed but properly managed and is average. There is no campus life, and there is no sports facility other than a table tennis table in campus. Hostel is third party, so you cannot expect much. It is average, and mess food is average.

This review has major information related to IIIT Surat college.

Infrastructure: There is no own hostel for our college, Indian Institute of Information Technology Surat, so they provided hostels in two different schools, and one is Matrix Global Hostel, which is the worst due to lack of playgrounds and proper food in the mess. They have provided a small cupboard with only 2 racks, which can barely fit our accessories.

Great in Academics, but working as a dream campus.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is not yet fully built but is under construction. Wi-Fi, library, and required labs are available, including classrooms. Talking about hostels, currently, the hostels are not yet built, so for the time being, we are in third-party hostel facilities. Food and bathroom/washroom facilities are okay. If any problem arises, after some complaints, they are cleared out. Talking about medical facilities, they are kinds of available, but not in the hostel, but rather nea...

Good for placement but bad for hostel/campus life.

Infrastructure: There are 2 hostels: one is Matrix, and the other is SUV. People prefer SUVs over Matrix because they have personal washrooms along with a playing ground and optical fiber Wi-Fi. Currently, we reside on a temporary campus, and AC is only present in CSE labs; other classes don't have AC. But the facilities for studying the subjects are all present. The campus is very small, and there is not much room to do anything. The canteen food is average.

IIIT Surat offers various courses to students at the UG and PhD levels. The institute is mainly concerned with the Engineering stream and offers a BTech programme to students as its flagship course. It is offered for a duration of 4 years across several specialisations.
