I am dissatisfied with the faculty, except for two or three. Placement was good in 2021-22.

Faculty: Faculty members are generally rude, with the exception of two or three. Curriculum is good, but the weekly timetable is not student-friendly. Lack of management appears to be a weekly issue. Teachers are qualified and knowledgeable, but aren't good at teaching. They lack class management skills.

It is a good college for those who didn't have any other good colleges like IITs and NITs.

Faculty: Teachers are qualified PhDs and they are good. When you pass out you will become industry-ready as said by seniors. Semester exams are like 65% difficult, 20% medium, and the remaining are easy. Pass percentage may be 85-90%, I don't know exactly.

Overall college is good but only as it does not have a permanent campus so college life is an issue.

Faculty: Our professors are too good as they are helpful and highly qualified. Our curriculum is also very nice as it recently changed according to the government guidelines. Semester exams are medium-level. Everyone can pass by a little bit of pressure. As per my batch and my course pass percentage is 100%.

Worth the fee and good placements.

Faculty: ECE faculty members are very good, polite, and knowledgeable, but CSE lacks some of that. Still overall its great. Curriculum of the college is easy and on par with the current market standards and demands. Even the ECE batch of ours had almost 85-90% of the computer science subjects which made placements easier.

It's worth looking at one time.

Faculty: Faculty is good. They help us in every scenario. Exams happen nicely, and the curriculum is good. There is one math teacher who is very good in his field. CSE and ECE teachers are all good overall. But to compare, the ECE faculty is better than the CSE faculty. The ECE curriculum is a little bit more difficult than CSE, but the teaching is good. Faculty also support you if you suffer from any personal, non-academic problem.

Supportive community here at IIIT Surat.

Faculty: Teachers here at IIIT Surat are very supportive, helpful, and knowledgeable. They act as our mentors and help wherever we are stuck. Course curriculum is very relevant and makes students industry-ready. Semester exams are conducted at a very fair level with almost 80% of students passing and 95% after supplementary.

Review of IIIT Surat - Indian Institute of Information Technology.

Faculty: The course curriculum is relevant. One important thing that I like is that important courses like DSA and development are taught in the second semester itself. It makes students get to know and decide about the courses well very early so that they can do a masters in one of them and improve it in the next 3 years.

Review of IIIT Surat by one of the students.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful. Some are not so good. Some teachers of computer science are not good. They do not understand what they are teaching. They are Ph.D. holders. One of our sirs is doing a Ph.D. in hydrogen energy and fuel. I don't know if the curriculum is relevant or not but our college don't do enough workshops on tech-related platforms.

College is good with good placements, average campus life, and encouraging faculty members.

Faculty: Faculty is good, experienced, and helping in nature. They teach very well. If you are interested in research and development, they would help and guide you too. Curriculum is according to NEP and is according to companies' requirement. It includes skill development for its students in different fields such as web development, app development, etc.

This review has major information related to IIIT Surat college.

Faculty: The teaching is better than colleges, and some teachers are excellent. They are skilled in their subject and clarify your doubts, but some faculty members don't have basic knowledge. The college curriculum is best as it doesn't have any unwanted subjects like Chemistry, Engineering Graphic. The semester exams are moderate, not hard, and not even easy.

Good for placement but bad for hostel/campus life.

Faculty: The curriculum is really good. Teachers have good qualifications for teaching, but they won't give you marks in the exam even if you have written correctly. Mid-sem exams are pretty easy, but end-sem exams, do very strict checking. The coding culture is good, and the curriculum is updated every year.

Good placements but disappointing campus life.

Faculty: The college has a curriculum that provides us with industry-oriented knowledge, like AI, which is good for trending needs as of today. Faculty are mostly Ph.D. holders, so they have good knowledge. Semester exams are so tough; the passing percent is very low. The highest marks scored in one subject was 64/100.

Average college with average placements and below-average campus life.

Faculty: Faculty members of our college have good knowledge about the subject, but they are not too supportive of the students. They are just interested in the theory part rather than the practical part. They never support the extracurricular activities of the students in college.
