According the cutoff list released by IIIT Una for admission to its flagship BTech programme the closing rank for BTech in Computer Science & Engineering (CSE) in the year 2021, 2022 & 2023 was 41419, 28324 & 30243 respectively. This clearly shows that the closing rank for the CSE branch at IIIT Una increased excessively in the year 2022 with respect to the year 2021 but it couldn’t maintain that growth for very long and crashed down to 30243 in the current year 2023 which makes the lowers the difficulty level for those who are willing to enrol in BTech in CSE at IIIT Una. There is no such provision for direct admission in any of the programme offered at IIIT Una including the BTech programme. Candidates willing to take admission to the BTech programme at IIIT Una must fulfil the following requirements:

• The candidate must have passed class 12 with Physics, Chemistry & Maths with a minimum of 75% aggregate.
• Also, candidates must have valid JEE-Main ranks based on which they can apply for the common counselling process through JoSAA and CSAB.
• Selected candidates will have to report to the admission cell at IIIT Una for document verification and fee payment leading to final seat allotment.

Candidates willing to take admission to the BTech programme at IIIT Una must fulfil the following requirements:

For seeking admission in IIIT Una, B.Tech programme, a candidate has to appear for the JEE Mains exam which is conducted by National Testing Agency NTA every year and secure a good rank in the exam. Following the exam there exists 2 types of counselling, JoSAA and CSAB.
