IIM Indore Courses & Fees 2027: UG, PG, Doctorate, Certificate Courses

Candidates seeking admission to the Executive Post Graduate Programme in Management of IIM Indore should submit their application online. Aspirants need to pay a non-refundable application fee of INR 5,900 including GST. Candidates can pay the application fee via any of the online payment mode.

However, if selected, admission of such candidates will be provisional depending on the submission of a pre-final certificate signed by competent authorities of the previous institute/ university, the latest by June 30 of the year of admission

Having a good academic profile for IIM admission is very critical. The top 6 IIMs lay a lot of emphasis on Class 10 and Class 12 score for selection of candidates for WAT-PI round. The academic profile is evaluated again at the time of preparation of final merit list. It has been seen in the past that some candidates despite having 99+ percentile, were not selected for PI round due to low score in Class 12.

The academic profile is assessed for academic as well as gender diversity. Which means a candidate who studied Arts in Class 12 may be selected for PI with lower marks than a candidate who studied Science in Class 12.

Candidates aiming for IIMs must know that while the importance of academic profile is very important for top IIMs, it is moderately important for rest of the IIMs. For, other top MBA colleges, overall profile matters more than academic score. So, if you do not have superlative scores in Class 10 and 12, build a good profile with work experience and extra curricular activities to increase your chances of selection.

After the Class 12 exam, the Integrated Programme in Management Aptitude Test (IPMAT) is one of the most competitive admission tests. The IPMAT exam typically has a moderate difficulty level. The three areas of the IPMAT question paper are Quantitative Aptitude (MCQs), Verbal Ability, and Quantitative Aptitude (SA). It is evident that QA (Math) makes up a significant portion of the IPMAT curriculum. This test measures your speed as well as your ability to select and answer the correct questions. Exam content is dominated by higher level maths. Over 60% of all QA questions typically come from the Class 11 and Class 12 curricula. A significant percentage of IPMAT questions are from the calculus and class 12 maths.

As per the official website, the Indian Institute of Management Indore IPM fee is INR 6 lakh for the first three years. The approximate cost of the course is INR 30 lakh. In addition to this, students who are willing to get into IIM Indore for this course are also required to pay the application fee for IPMAT. 

There is need-based financial assistance offered to the students of IPM at IIM Indore. Below is the criteria for scholarship:

• All participants admitted to the IPM programme with annual family income below INR 12, 00,000 are eligible to apply for financial aid.
• Eligible applicants who wish to apply for the IIM Indore NBFA may apply in the prescribed form as available in PGP/ IPM Office. They must apply in the form taken from the respective PGP /IM Office only.

The weightage given to Class 12 marks while shortlisting candidates for the personal interview round is 40%, which is the highest among other factors. However, while preparing the final merit list after PI round for admission offers, the weightage of class 12 marks comes down to 10%. Hence, it can be concluded that having a good score in Class 12 is an advantage for candidates seeking admission to IIM Indore MBA.

All participants who have applied through the EWS quota but have secured the seat through general or any other quota can also apply for NBFA. Any participant who has applied through SC, ST, OBC or physically handicapped quota and falls within the above eligibility criteria can also apply for the NBFA.

CAT cutoffs are usually not announced with the CAT result. The CAT cutoffs are also not released to the public.

They are published after a few days of the result announcement when the IIMs and other colleges start their shortlisting process. The IIMs opens their shortlisting window based on the CAT cut-offs two to three days after the result announcement. The CAT percentile of candidates shortlisted for the Written Ability Test (WAT), Group Discussion (GD), and Personal Interview (PI) can be considered the cut-off for that IIM. For example, if a candidate with a CAT percentile of 99 belonging to the General category is selected for the WAT/GD-PI of IIM Calcutta, then the CAT cut-off for IIM Calcutta is 99 percentile. Only those candidates who make it to the WAT/GD-PI round of IIMs will get to know the cut-offs.

IIM Indore provides Need-Based Financial Assistance (NBFA) to PGP, PGP HRM (PGPH) and Integrated Programme in Management (IPM) students with annual family income below INR 12 LPA. The objective of the Need-Based Financial Assistance (NBFA) at IIM Indore is to ensure that no participant is deprived of education at the institute for financial reasons. 

Yes, candidates can get admission in IIM Indore without CAT for two programmes: Integrated Programme in Management (IPM) and Executive Post Graduate Programme in Management (EPGP). Admission into IPM is based on the IPMAT (Integrated Program in Management Aptitude Test), followed by a Written Ability Test (WAT) and Personal Interview (PI). Admission into EPGP is based on GMAT or GRE score.

For the batch of 2023-2025, the highest domestic salary package offered was INR 70 LPA.
