IISER Kolkata BS-MS Eligibility & Highlights 2024
BS-MS at IISER Kolkata is a five-year Bachelor of Science and Master of Science (BS-MS) Dual Degree programme. In the fifth year of the course, the students work on a research/technical project/dissertation. Through this project, students are to showcase the learning they gain during the coursework. Under this programme, students get to choose one major from five majors, including, Geological Sciences, Biological Science, Physical Science, Chemical Science, and Mathematical Science.

IISER Kolkata BS-MS Fees 2024
The fee structure of IISER Kolkata courses is a combination of several components, such as tuition fee, hostel fee, medical insurance, mess and other security deposits, etc. Out of all the fee components, there are a few that are charged once. However, some are to be paid semester-wise or annually, such as the tuition fees.
The total tuition fees for BS-MS courses amount to INR 4.4 lakh. As per the rules of GOI, a 100% tuition fee waiver is provided to students belonging to SC, ST, and PD classes. Students can visit here to learn the other components included in the fee structure.

IISER Kolkata BSc 2024 Application Process
The steps to apply for the preferred BSc course are as follows:
- Go to official site at www.iiseradmission.ac.in.

Shortlisting of Candidates

In the final step, the shortlisted candidates are invited for a document verification procedure at the institute. Candidates must carry important documents such as Class 10, 12 marksheet, migration certificate, and identification proof.

As per official sources, IISER Kolkata has a total of 250 seats reserved for its BS-MS five-year programme. Moreover, these seats are subject to the rules of reservation. Listed below is the category-wise percentage of reserved seats:
