Integrated course at IISER, Pune.

Faculty: Attendance history is most important which admit has to write semester examinations without any punishment or penalties. Faculty members arrange extra classes for students who are unable to perform well in the mid-exams. Weekly assignments and challenges are prepared by them in Google link.

My two-year MS program.

Faculty: Professors were strict supervisors even during the model examinations and its evaluation were at some higher standards which made the students to perform well in the internals exams. While developing newer projects, our professors were best in resolving the trouble.

Best faculty members and good infrastructure.

Faculty: We are provided with the top faculty or the top most teachers present at the national level. Our schedule is made by college and it is also on the official site of our college. We have exams on a regular basis and the question paper is set by the teacher itself.

The oldest IISER- IISER Kolkata.

Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified, knowledgeable, and helpful You would love to discuss scientific things with them as all of them are researchers so you are going to get a good research exposure in here. Course curriculum is quite tough but no need to worry you can find time for extracurricular activities too. Students have to be aware of the exam time because you would need to study.

The college is the best let me tell you.

Faculty: Teachers in our college are great. They are very qualified and are also good in terms of knowledge and industry-related content. The course curriculum is also very relevant to the industry. The pass percentage is 100% for the entire batch. The exams are easy.

Best college in academics for pursuing science, but decent in the infrastructure of sports complex.

Faculty: We have one of the best faculty members in India. The knowledge level is top. The qualification background is good, and every professor has a postdoctoral position outside India in a good and reputable college. Many of them are PhD holders from outside India. The teaching qualities are quite good as they are mostly researchers. Some professors are good. They have won the national and the best teachers award. We have the best curriculum as it is relevant, with research, and includes going abroad....

Only come here if you actually want to study Science, not for the name that it is a top institute.

Faculty: To be very honest, curriculum is actually pretty much strict and tight scheduled. Exams are not much different for any other colleges. For particular courses there are particular professors who make their own criteria for passing an exam and the question paper pattern.

Good infrastructure and facilities. Absolutely satisfied with faculty and studies.

Faculty: Teachers are excellent in their own particular field (best); they are all Ph.D. holders and very cooperative. Here you will not remember things; you will understand it and learn to apply it in real life. Exams are not focused on memory but on understanding. If you come here, one thing is for sure: you don't have to memorise things. If you understand, then you pass the exam. Exams are focused on understanding why you may find them difficult because you will not be able to find questions as they a...

Review for the MS in Space Physics from IISER Kolkata.

Faculty: Faculty at this institute is highly qualified and knowledgeable. Most teachers are Ph.D. holders from reputed institutes. Their way of teaching is very good, and they provide proper guidance to students. Teachers assist students with their research work. The course curriculum covers all the important topics. Exams are also hard to pass.

The administration is slow.

Faculty: In the bio department, the faculty is knowledgeable but lacks the skill of teaching. The coursework until the 2nd year focuses on building students' interests in interdisciplinary subjects, which focuses more on the fundamentals of the subjects. After the third year, we get a good look at how to work in labs and stuff. The curriculum labs are great for building foundations, but not all students get hands-on due to the lack of management and the crowding.

All about IISER Kolkata .

Faculty: The teachers are very helpful. They take your feedback regularly and work on it. All of them have PhDs, and many have post-doctoral degrees. The curriculum is multidisciplinary, which is what is needed in today's research world. Semester exams are not that tough, and you will get good marks if you study.

An overview on IISER-K by an undergraduate student.

Faculty: The curriculum here is kind of open. Teachers decide the location of the course by observing students' status. You are welcome to question everything the teacher says (if you're not being annoying? ). The faculty members are good (not so good, if I remember my first semester). But in the second semester, the faculty members are amazing. You might be a little disappointed if your target is earth science, but it will be heaven for you if your target is physics, chemistry or biology. As this isn't ...

It is one of the best and premier institutes to pursue your degree in Basic Sciences.

Faculty: All the professors here are highly qualified PhDs, knowledgeable and very helpful. The teaching quality is on par with that of foreign universities, and the course curriculum is very relevant to making the students industry-ready. Semester exams are difficult but can easily be done well by following the lectures and notes provided by professors. Pass percentage is the same 33% criteria in a course. Also, here at IISER Kolkata, we have a CGPA system. Above 8 CGPA is considered good for getting do...

Really good for students who are interested in research.

Faculty: The faculty here is world-class; the professors here graduated from the world's top universities and they also do there research along with their teaching, which is essential for better education. It is a 5-year integrated BSMS degree so in the fourth year, students are taught courses and in the last year, they do their theses.

A place to study pure science.

Faculty: The courses are great, the education is the best, the teachers are good, and the facilities are enough to do great in your courses and get a Ph.D. abroad. The courses are relevant, but they won't make you industry-ready. The semester exams are a bit difficult, and 40 marks are passing marks.
