Indian Institute of Science Education and Research Thiruvananthapuram offers a total of three courses, including BS-MS, Integrated PhD and PhD across five departments, namely Biological Sciences, Chemical Sciences, Mathematical Sciences, Physical Sciences and Data Sciences at UG, PG and doctoral level, respectively. Admission to the IISER Thiruvananthapuram is entrance-based. Applicants are admitted to the BS-MS programme through Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana (KVPY), JEE Advanced and SCB channels. IISER Mohali Integrated PhD admission is based on JEST/ JAM scores, while the PhD admission is based on a valid score in the CSIR NET/ GATE/ CSIR-JRF/ UGC-JRF along with a good academic record.
