IISER Thiruvananthapuram Admission Process 2025
The applicants are required to visit the IISER Thiruvananthapuram official site and apply online. While completing the application form, applicants should choose the programme of their interest, like BS-MS, Integrated PhD or PhD and submit the required documents. The process is completed once the application fee is paid online.
Step 2: Selection Round and Entrance
The BS-MS programme can be pursued via the IISER Aptitude Test or through KVPY, JEE Advanced or the SCB channel. In the case of the MSc programme, candidates have to clear the IISER TVM MSc Screening Test. The college offers admission to the PhD programmes on the basis of entrance exam scores such as CSIR NET, GATE, JRF (CSIR/UGC), or JEST.
Step 3: Issue of Merit List and Confirmation of Admission
Lastly, the college will release a merit list on the basis of entrance exam scores. Candidates who will be shortlisted, will receive an invitation for counselling or interview as per the programme.

IISER Thiruvananthapuram offers a BS-MS Dual Degree. To be eligible for the programme the aspiring candidates need to have Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) for SCB channel candidates.
