The modes of IIT Gandhinagar admissions are online and offline. Admission to various postgraduate and undergraduate courses is based on merit and entrance exam scores. The accepted entrance exams are GATE, JEE Main, and JEE Advanced. Candidates must study GATE exam pattern, keep an eye on GATE exam date and GATE result. Candidates need to pay an application fee (non-refundable) in the online mode only for MSc admission at IIT Gandhinagar. However, they are required to furnish a hard copy of the application form along with a photograph and all the necessary documents in original (testimonials, certificates, publications, work experience, and research/professional experience) at the interview time. No,  JEE Main 2024 dates for admission to IIT Gandhinagar are not out yet. It is expected that JEE Main 2024 notification will be released in the first week of December. Yes, IIT Gandhinagar MA admission takes place through the merit secured in last qualifying exam of graduation. Candidates applying for admission into the programme do not need to apply for any entrance exam. If a candidate has a minimum aggregate of 55% in graduation they are eligible for admission at the university. Therefore, if candidates want to apply for admission they can apply for admission at the university without any entrance exam.

Based on the Round 1 seat allotment, the BTech cutoff scores ranged between 1576 and, 10165 for the General AII India category students. Among all the BTech specialisations, BTech in CSE is the most competitive specialisation. So, considering the round 1 cutoff, candidates seeking admission to Indian Institute of Technology Gandhinagar must secure a maximum rank upto 10165.

IIT Gandhinagar JAM cutoff 2025 was released for different MSc specialisations. The cuutoff ranks were between 338 and 396, among the General AI category candidates. The lowest cutoff rank was for admission to M.Sc. in Physics, for which the cutoff rank was 338. This made MSc in Physics the most difficult specialisation to get into. 

IIT Gandhinagar CSE Cutoff 2025 was released for all rounds and categories under the All India quota. 

For the General AI category, the cutoff in the first round was 1872, and in the last round, it was 2020. On the other hand, for the OBC AI category, the overall cutoff for CSE varied between 791 and 805. Refer to the list of pointers below to know the qualifying closing ranks for all other categories.

IIT Gandhinagar round 6 cutoff has been released for admission to various BTech and integrated courses. The cutoff was released for different categories belonging to the All India quota. The cutoff ranks among the General AI category closed between 2020 and 11066. Therefore, 350 is an excellent score to get admission to IIT Gandhinagar for candidates belonging to the General AI category. 

Yes, according to the IIT Gandhinagar JEE Advanced cutoff 2025, you can get admission with a rank of 10K.

If you belong to the General AI category, admission is available but only to the less preferred specialisations, like B.Tech. in Materials Engineering. This course had a cutoff of  10372 in the first round, which later increased to 11066 in the last round. Students can look at the table below to know which courses can be availed with a rank of 10K.
