MSc at IIT Gandhinagar is offered as a regular full-time programme of a two-year duration across four specialisations. Best IIT campus in India.

Placements: There is campus placement at the college. There are so many companies that select students on the basis of written and oral interviews. There is a 6 lacs per year average package at the college. Students who are in the final semester can take part in the placement process. Students get an internship opportunity based on their academic score and performance. Teachers also recommend students for the internship opportunity. There is some internship opportunity, which is to consider students for foreign study and research.

Infrastructure: In the room, there is one cupboard, one bed mattress and a set of tables and chairs. The process of hostel registration is the same as the admission process. In the morning, there is breakfast; in the afternoon, they provide lunch; in the evening, snacks with tea or coffee; and in the night, they serve dinner.

Faculty: In IIT Gandhinagar, the course curriculum is based on semester-wise exams. All of the faculty are well qualified and well versed in their field. Every faculty member is very helpful and you can interact one-on-one with them after the class. I have completed my graduation in the mathematics and IITs are also providing a Masters degree in mathematics, so we chose M.Sc. Mathematics. There were semester-wise exams and in every semester we had a mid-semester exam and an end-semester exam. Apart from this, there were quizzes every 15-20 days.

Other: In the college, there are different kinds of festivals, like the annual fest, Blithchron and the technical fest, Amalthea. There are different kinds of sports events, like CCL and Hall Bol. There are so many sports events in the Hall Bol tournament.

Good infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: In my batch of 30 students, 7 students applied for placements, and 5 have places in companies with an average package of INR 10 LPA CTC. On average, if you prepare a bit, you can easily get placed in good companies with a minimum package of INR 10 LPA.

Infrastructure: As the IIT Gandhinagar is one of the new IITs, its hostels and campus are newly established, and very high-quality facilities are there. All the rooms are fully furnished, having AC rooms and full Wi-Fi all over the campus. There are facilities like gyms, swimming pools, games, Sports and all that you must find useful.

Faculty: Exams are as frequent as usual in all the colleges but the grading is too hard and plagiarism is considered a crime. You have to show sincerity. There is a zero-violence tolerance policy. The IIT staff is always there to help you. You offered financial support.

Other: It is a very good campus and people are very nice with interdisciplinary activities.

IIT GN is an education hub .

Placements: IIT GN is one of the top institutes in India. It had a very good placement record. The average salary package offered was 10 LPA, whereas the highest salary package offered was 60 LPA. So if you want a good salary package, you should choose IIT GN. Around 50% of the students of IIT GN got placed in various companies.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college was very good. It had India's best hostel with air-conditioned rooms and LAN connections in the room. The entire campus was Wi-Fi enabled. Labs and air-conditioned classrooms make the best institute. There were many sports facilities too. You will get a football ground, cricket ground, hockey ground and many sports.

Faculty: We had good and supportive faculty members. Most of them were qualified from foreign universities and had years of experience. Teaching quality was also very good. The way they teach was awesome. You will not feel bored in class. The course curriculum was too good and a little tough.

Other: It is located out of the city, but IIT GN has a bus, which runs from IIT to Ahmedabad and then to IIT campus 3-4 times a day.

IIT Gandhinagar review .

Placements: The college has a good track of records in terms of placements opportunities, however many students despite of going for placements chose for higher studies. One of my senior was placed for a package of 18lpa. Many students have secured internships in various organisations.

Infrastructure: The college has good infrastructure and facilities as well. This college provides the best hostel facilities I can say and all the hostel rooms are air conditioned and Wi-Fi enabled. Classrooms are also air conditioned and Wi-Fi enabled with good speed.

Faculty: The faculty of this college is highly qualified, knowledgeable and helpful. The teaching quality of this college is very good. The way professor teaches is very impressive. The course curriculum of M.Sc. physics is highly relevant and makes the students industry ready.

Placements: Many companies came to the campus for giving opportunity to students for job. More then 70% students got campus selection with healthy package. The minimum package is 6 lacks. It means you will get at least 6 lac pr year as your salary. The average salary offered by companies 15 lac.

Infrastructure: I can say, it is the best hostel in India. You will get fully AC hostel, AC classroom. In hostel, you will get free Wi-Fi and a LAN port in the room too. 24 hours medical facility, cricket group, football group, Hockey ground, basketball court and many more things.

Faculty: The faculty of IIT GN is very good. They are too supportive. The way, they teaching is very awesome. You will not feel bored in the class. All of them are very experienced and highly qualified. Most of them completed their Ph.D. degree from foreign university. The course is also very good. You will definitely learn new things.

Other: Many events are celebrated in the campus, for ex. "Hall Bol", "IGNITE" etc.

The best hostel facilities in India are provided in our college.

Placements: The college has a good placement record. However, most of the students go for higher studies, yet it has a good placement record. Two of my friends applied for placements, and one of them got selected with a package of 18 LPA. Many students got internship opportunities in various institutes across the world.

Infrastructure: The college provides the best hostel facilities. Rooms have LAN connection with a speed of 40-50 Mbps. The campus is Wi-Fi enabled. All the hostel rooms are air-conditioned. Classrooms are good and air-conditioned. Food available in the canteen is good.

Faculty: The faculty in IIT, Gandhinagar are very supportive and very good. They support students in every possible way. The teaching quality of our faculty is very good. The way they teach is very impressive. The course curriculum of maths at IIT, GN is very useful.
