IIT Gandhinagar MSc Courses & Fees 2025: Admission Dates, Placements & Seats

IIT Gandhinagar MSc admission takes place through the IIT JAM entrance exam and CCMN Counselling. Candidates can follow the step-by-step guide given below to apply for admission to the MSc programme at the university:

STEP 1: Apply for IIT JAM entrance exam

To apply for admission into the programme candidates have to apply for IIT Joint Admission Test for Masters through the exam website. Candidates also need to pay an application fee (non-refundable) in online mode only. Candidates can have a look at the documents required through the list below:

• Coloured passport-size photograph in (JPEG format, white background)
• Scanned image of signature (JPEG format)
• Scanned copy of the Category (SC/ST) Certificate (if applicable) in pdf format
• Scanned copy of PwD Certificate (if applicable) in pdf format
• Physical Fitness certificate

Note: IIT JAM admission scores are not necessary for candidates applying for Early admit MSc.

STEP 2: Appear for CCMN Counselling & Interview

Once candidates have a valid IIT JAM score, they must appear for CCMN Counselling to apply for IIT Gandhinagar MSc admission. Candidates who are selected will be called for an interview based on their past academic records and IIT JAM score. Therefore, students must furnish a hard copy of the application form with a photograph and all the required documents in original (testimonials, certificates, publications, work experience, and research/ professional experience) at the interview time.

STEP 3: Document Verification & Fee Payment

Once candidates have cleared the interview round and have been provided provisional admission they should finalise their admission formalities and pay some amount of the tuition fee. Admission into the programme is only confirmed when the candidate has paid the tuition fee.
