Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Hyderabad MSc course in full-time mode offered across distinct specialisations. It is a two-year programme, spread across four academic semesters. Medical Physics and Physics are the two major specialisations offered under the MSc course.

IIT Hyderabad admission in Chemistry is based on a valid IIT JAM score, followed by a CCMN Counselling round. For MSc cognitive science course admission is through COGJET/GATE/JAM/NET followed by an interview round.

IIT Hyderabad boasts excellent placements and a fantastic infrastructure.

Placements: The majority of students were placed on campus, and IIT Hyderabad offers the greatest placements in prestigious firms around the nation. Other students launched their own businesses or improved their own jobs. There are internships available, and students are compensated for them. In 2024, the average package size was between 15 and 20 lakhs annually, while the largest package provided was 46 lakhs.

Infrastructure: The facilities are first-rate, including first-rate labs and amenities like Wi-Fi. The library is excellent, and the classrooms are spacious. Additionally, the college offers hostel accommodation where we may eat well. Compared to the canteen, the mess is clean and has a wider selection of food. Sports and games materials and activities are offered, as are medical amenities.

Faculty: The instructors are incredibly informed and helpful. Many of the instructors at my college are skilled educators who make sure that the curriculum is easily understood by breaking down difficult ideas into manageable chunks. Exams during the semester are challenging, but thanks to our teachers, we all pass with high grades. New technology is applicable to the course. They prepare pupils for the workforce. With a 96% passing percentage, the semester exams are challenging to pass.

Infrastructure: The IITs in our country are known for the infrastructure they provide to the students. The course offers us a wide range of benefits and perks such as Wi-Fi, library access, AV classrooms, etc. The food served by our mess is the best in class.

Faculty: The teachers at our college are really helpful; they are very well qualified and knowledgeable. The teaching quality has also been very good, and they make sure that the content of the course is not compromised. The college exams are difficult to crack.

My review about this college.

Placements: We could learn a lot during internships. If it were an industrial, field internship, we could really learn how companies work, how it was different from academics, etc. Placements were pretty much good compared to all new IITs. The average package was around 10 LPA - 12 LPA. The highest salary was 40 LPA, and the lowest salary was 4 LPA. There were many companies visiting the campus thus providing enough opportunities for placements. Nearly every student could get an internship opportunity if they applied to appropriate firms. The stipend depends on how you work at the firm.

Infrastructure: Hostel facilities were world-class, and every student would love to get such world-class facilities. Buildings were seven-storeyed hostels. All kinds of sports grounds and well-furnished. A multipurpose gym was well-built. Music and recreation rooms were well built. Huge stages and open stands were ultimate open places. Course curriculum was very simple in our college. Our college followed fractal academics which help students to easily cope up with their studies while doing other activities. So it helped every student. Even if you were weak at some point, this exams were so easy. It provided wireless networking electives, machine learning, and databases.

Faculty: Faculty members had been excellent in molding the students in various streams of specialisations. They had been trained from old IITs so that being a new IIT we were not missing that experience and expertise from the professors and faculty members. They had been really good job teaching with their experience. For 2 years, there were 4 semesters. All the exams also had lab exams as part of end-semester exams. Lab activities included, programming, coding, machine learning, digital signal processing, operation systems, embedded systems, micro processors, etc.

IIT H is the best 2nd Generation IIT. So welcome to one of the finest institution of our country.

Placements: About 50-60% students got placed every year in our course. The highest CTC is INR 18LPA and the lowest is INR 6 LPA. Adobe, Flipkart, Sony, Dr. Reddy, BYJU, Unacademy, Vedantu and also many chemical industries visit IIT H for our placement. Approximately, 80-90% students got internship from our course.

Infrastructure: The entire campus is Wi-Fi connected and also we have personal LAN Cable in our room. The Labs are Extremely advanced and well maintained. The Hostels are just awesome. Everyone gets single room in IIT H. The buildings of IIT H are build of Japanese technology.

Faculty: The Profs of IIT H are highly qualified and very knowledgeable. They helped us not only in academics but also in personal problems as well. Obviously the course is a little hectic. You have massive exam and study pressure. But you will be used to it after some time.

Placements: IIT Hyderabad provides placements in various fields. The placements at IIT yields approximately 264 opportunities. Last year around 325 students registered for the recruitment process. Companies which hired students are Yahoo Japan, SMS Data Tech etc. The highest salary package offered was 38 LPA and average salary package offered was 11.5 LPA.

Infrastructure: IIT Hyderabad is well renowned in terms of infrastructure. Japanese engineers designed it, and it has various spacious classrooms which are fully air-conditioned and a big auditorium and library. It has playgrounds for various sports like cricket, basketball etc.

Faculty: Faculty in IIT Hyderabad are well educated. Every faculty is a PhD holder here. They are very kind and helpful in the field of academics. They have years of experience in their field. They are friendly too so that we cannot hesitate in any way for consulting them.
