Do your best hardwork to get into IIT.
Placements: Placements were very good. Almost all students get placed. Most of my friends got placed. Mostly students were placed in different top universities as associate professors. Some students were getting internships from foreign countries like Japan, Russia, the UK, USA universities. Good internship opportunities were available for all branches. You can receive information regarding these from the Office of Career Service OCS IITH. A lot of Japanese companies hire from here.
Infrastructure: Libraries were the best. They look like fictional libraries any reader would just love. Almost all genres were available. There was online checking facility of availability of books. Seating spaces were very creative specially crafted for studying and peaceful work. Classrooms were very good. Air conditioning, projectors, TV, stepped platform, etc. The premises are very friendly. There is a gym and track and all facilities separately for each sport. Track for running, basketball court, tennis court, football ground, cricket ground, closed and open, open running track, closed running track, volleyball court etc separately.
Faculty: The course curriculum was very good compared to other colleges but the way it was executed has to be improved. This was a new course so there are many difficulties. Exam patterns were decided by the faculty in charge of each course. Most of them follow a pattern where there was a mid semester exam and a final exam. Faculty to student ratio was kind of neutral. There were a lot of faculty members and a lot of students. I do not know the correct number but the campus was neither overcrowded nor empty.

    Satisfied with almost everything.
Placements: Students from fourth year B.Tech are mostly preferred for placements and M.Tech, Ph.D. students are also given importance. Many companies visit campus during placement drives, keep some exams and take interviews. At an average nearly all students get in the range of 20-50 Lacs. Few get above 50 Lacs. Companies from Japan, Microsoft, Nvidia, Infosys etc. Visit. Nearly 350+ students got placements in 2023. After getting my degree I need to get in placements due to some financial problems later on I want to do something better.
Infrastructure: Single rooms are provided to all the students, except a single hostel named Ramanuja. RCS is present to cool the rooms during the summer days. Discussions on the mess food is debatable, most of us have an issue with the mess food. On somedays, it is good but most of the time the mess food especially lunch is quite pathetic. Breakfast is good providing every portion of the nutrients. Dinner is also good comparatively. For day scholars, you have to stay either in Sangareddy town which is 6-7 kms from the campus or in Hyderabad City which is 50-60 kms from the campus.
Faculty: The professors from each branch are highly qualified with enough experience to provide us the required knowledge needed for upcoming professional life. Most of them are quite friendly and we can approach them whenever we need any help. We need to just contact them through email and they will provide us the time for a meet up. Also, students have been doing projects from first year itself under the designated professors. Also, for each branch there is a Professor alloted for mental health and well being and whenever we need help we can approach them. A professor is alloted to design the course and give us idea about the courses and which courses to take and which to not take. Overall, faculty is quite good and friendly as per an IIT.
Other: One of the biggest first of South India Elan and Envision which is cultural and technical fest held every year in February or March. Others sports competitions such as Diesta which is inter-departmental completion and Milan which is inter-hostel completion are held every year. Online games and indoor games competitions are held as part of Revive.

Very much satisfied with every facility and learnings of this institute.
Placements: The stipend varies from Rs 8000 to Rs 28,000. Students from UG and PG levels across the country can apply for summer and winter internships. Selected candidates are offered an internship along with a fellowship. The amount of fellowship varies from Rs 8,000 to Rs 28,000. The tenure of the internship can be extended to the performance of students.
Infrastructure: Hostels have a unique radiant cooling facility, which is very useful during summer. For every floor, there will be 4 pods and 8 rooms per pod. For every pod, separate washrooms. For every floor, there will be a washing machines and water dispenser. Every day there will be cleaning services and for every hostel there will be security. There is no time for a hostel. Only one student per room. One hostel has 2 per room. Each room has a table, bed, fan, light, cup board, etc. There are 2 mess areas for whole campus; we have to register at the end of the month for any one mess. The meal quality is very good, especially in the morning. There will be a variety of healthy meals, including eggs, sprouts, bananas, read, etc. Registration is done only in the first year; if we want to change rooms, we can ask in the hostel office. If we are sick, food is supplied by security to our room of we inform them. There will be ambulance and bus service in campus .
Faculty: Faculty are student-friendly They are always available via mail or in person, They are available soon after the class or we can visit the office during mentioned office hours There are experienced faculty who did graduation research from top universities such as IIT's, MIT, Stanford, etc. They use all mode of teaching at their best. Strict in plagiarism, which is very useful for getting experience in programming and projects. Faculty encourage great interaction in class to discuss our ideas. Presentations will be taken often as a result, it will improve our skills and we will present fearlessly in the future.
Other: One of the biggest fests in South India is Elan and Envision, which is a cultural and technical fest held every year in February or March. Other sports competitions, such as Diesta, which is inter-departmental completion and Milan, which is inter-hostel completion are held every year.

It is absolutely good to pursue civil engineering.
Placements: About 85% of students can get placement. About 20 LPA,10 LPA, and 5 LPA are the highest, moderate, and the lowest respectively. L&T is the most popular recruiting company for this course it has many opportunities compared to the rest. It offers most of the jobs rather than any company. Some people can do on-campus internships under the professors. Almost everyone got recruited for internships on and out of campus.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is extremely great. LAN Portals are provided in every hostel and Wi-Fi is available in all the academic blocks. Well-equipped things for all types of lab work are maintained carefully. Canteen food is not that tasty whereas Amul and Nescafe are fine.
Faculty: When it comes to faculty, they are highly qualified and their lectures are outstanding. The teaching quality is flawless as they are very experienced. The curriculum is relevant. Semester exams are very standard. The difficulty is mostly moderate. The pass percentage is quite higher.

IITH: a great place for research with lucrative opportunities.
Placements: With the collaboration with Japanese companies and universities, the placement in IITH is very good. Multiple companies use to come here especially to recruit Ph.D. students. Students may get an opportunity to join R&D in popular companies like Qualcomm, TCS, Samsung, Redpine, BEL TSMC, etc. With an annual package ranging from 10 Lacs to 25 Lacs. Apart from this, a Ph.D. graduate may also go to academics in reputed universities and engineering colleges with lucrative packages.
Infrastructure: There is state of the art infrastructure in IITH campus. Each of the buildings has a unique architecture designed by the eminent architects. In the second phase of construction, all the buildings are being constructed parallelly and fastly. After the completion of the second phase, the campus will have all the facilities like married housing, sports complex, knowledge center, technology incubation center, shopping complex, etc. All these constructions are expected to be ready by 2021.
Faculty: IITH has very young and enthusiastic faculty members. IITH is progressing at a very high-speed. IITH is no. 1 in second-generation IITS and now competing with older IITS in all the fronts. IITH brings multiple R&D projects from government. And Non- government bodies for having great exposure to research to Ph.D. students.
