IIT Indore JAM Cutoff 2024 has been released for Round 2. The most competitive course was M.Sc in Biotechnology with the Cutoff rank of 64. For the OBC AI category candidates, the Cutoff for M.Sc in Biotechnology closed at 135.

If the Cutoff rank is more than 64, for the General AI category candidates, there is no scope for admission to IITs for M.Sc in Biotechnology.

The dates for JoSAA counselling 2026 choice filling will be announced once the result of JEE Main 2026 is declared. Candidates can fill choices only during the choice filling period. Also, candidates need to lock their choices before the last date.

The overall campus of IIT Indore is safe with strict security for both girls and boys. IITI is well-known for its annual student initiatives and events. IIT Indore offers a variety of UG, PG and PhD courses in the streams of Engineering and Science. UG courses are offered across various specialisations including BTech in Computer Science and Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, etc. The total tuition fees for the BTech courses is around INR 8 Lacs.

IIT Indore JEE Advanced cutoff 2025 was published for admission to the BTech course specialisations for all rounds and categories under the All India quota. For the General AI category, the last round cutoff ranged from 1628 to 11274. Therefore, it is possible to gain admission at IIT Indore (maybe not in the initial rounds but in the later rounds, as the cutoff increases).

For students belonging to the SC category under the AI quota, the UCEED last round closing rank was 31 for IIT Indore B.Des admission. Please note that the cutoff ranks vary for different rounds. The round-wise UCEED 2025 closing ranks for IIT Indore are tabulated below for the SC category.

Considering the IIT Indore JEE Advanced cutoff 2024, the BTech in Computer Science and Engineering programme stood at 1389 for the General AI category candidates. Hall of Residence for students at IIT Indore is located on the permanent campus of the Institute at Simrol. The newly constructed building of the hall has the latest amenities. Presently, more than 900 students are residing in the hall. IITI has various campus facilities which include Cafe, Atm, Bank, laundary, salon, etc.

Yes, IIT Indore is an officially recognised institute. The Government of India established IIT Indore as an institute of national importance in 2009. IIT Indore has been ranked in several university rankings including THE World University Rankings, THE Asia University Rankings and QS Asia University Rankings. 

IIT Indore offers UG, PG, Dual Degrees and PhD courses in the streams of Engineering and Science. The institute provides full time specialisations in courses such as BTech, MTech, MS, MSc, and PhD.

At the UG level, programs include BTech in disciplines including Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering. At the PG level, programs include MTech, MS in History, English, Philosophy and MSc in Chemistry, Astronomy, Mathematics, etc. Only two PhD courses are offered by the institute, namely PhD in Computer Science and Engineering and PhD in Electrical Engineering.

The cut off rank in Round 6 for B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering is 7474 which is very close to this range. This was for general category under All India quota. Unless the candidate belongs to some other category or domicile, one can not afford to score less than this. With this rank, there is a probability of getting admission however since, the cut offs keep changing from round to round, better ranks definitely increases your chances of getting admission at IIT Indore - Indian Institute of Technology.
