Satisfied with the placements.

Placements: Although the batch size in the discipline of Bioscience is smaller, each participant is placed in one or more companies. 83 percent of the pupils were placed in excellent companies. Rs. 45 LPA was the biggest CTC. ISRO, Bharat Petroleum, Goldman Sachs, Microsoft, Capgemini, Havells, HCL, 1MG, MAQ Software, Crisil, Honda, Zycus, DRDO, Bank of Baroda, and Coal India Ltd were among the 50 firms that visited the campus.

Infrastructure: You are provided with an almirah, a bed, and a study table along with a cushioned chair. As previously mentioned, you are also provided with air-conditioning in every room with the room being single-occupancy. You are also provided with a courtyard in every hostel along with a garden in every hostel. There is a games room along with an ill-equipped gym. There is also a TV room present. Every floor is provided with 12 toilets for around 70 people. The same number of bathrooms are provided along with hot water. The hostel registration process was also fairly simple and easy and really quick. The hostel is also quite affordable when compared with other colleges.

Faculty: In the early days, I was facing difficulty in getting the syllabus, but over the course of a few months, we were assigned a large number of tasks in the lab. Authorities urged us to concentrate on the design techniques of another era. Practical exercise made up 80% of our training. Our council's academic staff were some of the best scientists in the world, having worked on some of the most important projects during their respective tenures. The faculty members carry knowledge of whatever subject they are teaching. The student-to-teacher ratio is appropriate such that every student can easily ask his/her doubts. The grading system of this college also seems pretty fair to me. It is pretty easy to interact with any teacher or professor here at the college. You can simply write an e-mail to the concerned individual and he/she will respond.

Other: There are a lot of fests held in this college but there are majorly three fests, namely VARCHAS, PROMETHEO, and IGNUS. VARCHAS is the sports fest, PROMETHEO is the technological and entrepreneurial fest, and IGNUS is the cultural fest. VARCHAS is held around November, PROMETHEO around January, and IGNUS around March or February.

The best 2 years of my life summarised in 1000 words.

Placements: The information relating to our batch was that 90% of the students in our course were placed. The highest and the lowest package of our course being 30 Lacs and 6 Lacs respectively. The top recruiting companies in our batch our Microsoft, Google, and Wipro. The top roles offered for the students of our batch were Software Engineer, Data Scientist, and Business Analyst.

Infrastructure: The facilities and the infrastructure available to us at IIT Jodhpur is that the college has a sports complex with a variety of sports facilities. The quality of the food was good when we joined the college earlier but during the last six months, the food quality and the taste become bad.

Faculty: The teachers in our college are qualified because most of them are IIT graduates and are holding rich experience in domain knowledge and also help students to get placed in different companies throughout the year. The college regularly keeps on updating the course curriculum keeping the course up to date with taht of the industry standards.

Being a student of M.Tech.

Placements: Placement services were done at minimal charges. Most of the students from our branch got placed in core companies with minimum and moderate packages. Only 3 to 5% of students from our branch got hired with maximum salary package of above 5 LPA, and below 7.5 LPA.

Infrastructure: As my college was far away from my home, I used to travel in the college bus, because they charged high for hostel accommodation. Usually, they set some procedure to collect exam fee, only after all the fees were paid. So students face a hectic situation while during payment of examination fee.

Faculty: Professors were not only testing the academic understanding of the students but also often testing the students' external skills and knowledge by conducting creative examinations, games, and simpler learning. Professor's activities were more beneficial for the improvement of our knowledge.
