IIT JODHPUR is one of the best second-generation colleges.

Placements: I am a first-year B.Tech student, pursuing B.Tech in Civil and Infrastructure Engineering. The overall average package of last year was 18 LPA. Almost 80% of the students got placed during campus placements. I am not so aware of the placement system because I’m a first-year student.

Infrastructure: Single and fully air-conditioned rooms are provided to every student. Free unlimited Wi-Fi access and good infrastructure are also provided. There is a separate mess for veg and non-veg food. Sports classes are conducted every week, and various other curricular activities are conducted.

Faculty: Teachers are well-talented in both academics and student well-being. Several quizzes are conducted every 10 to 15 days. Minor and major examinations are conducted every semester. Teaching assistants are also allotted for all batches to solve their doubts and improve their academics.

The infrastructure is so good that it can be said to be a pearl in the ocean.

Placements: Placements are highly offered for non-core branches, and very few placements are offered for core branches. The highest package was 54 LPA, and the median was 14 LPA. Microsoft, Amazon, Cisco, Flipkart, etc., visit our college. Internships are offered from the 3rd year, both paid and unpaid.

Infrastructure: The campus area is very large, 852 acres. They provide Wi-Fi for students, many labs which are enrolled in the course itself, and the library is big and contains almost all the books. The best thing is that they provide single occupancy with AC from the first year itself, and any query or issue is solved as soon as possible. There is a hospital if the students fall ill, and an ambulance service is also available for students. Many sports activities like football, basketball, squash, table tennis, badminton, and many more are there, and there are multiple grounds for every sport.

Faculty: The faculty is well-experienced and qualified, with Ph.D., and involved themselves in research with respect to their field. They guide us whenever we want and also keep extra sessions for doubt clearing, and all the teaching quality is good. The course curriculum is relevant. Semester exams are not that difficult, easy to pass, but hard to get good grades.

Other: There are many extracurricular activities done, and a total of 8 fests are conducted, and Ignus is the biggest cultural fest.

Review of IIT Jodhpur - Indian Institute of Technology.

Placements: The UG placements are yet to be noticed, as the oldest batch for our course is only three years old at this point, but they are as good as the M.Tech placements. Mostly, the civil engineering department is not very good around any IIT, but here we have a newer version so I think it is better than most.

Infrastructure: As IITJ is a new campus, almost everything is equipped with the latest tech and trends, so it is a real wonder when it comes to infrastructure. The mess food is quite good. Our labs are new. Many more are being made so the new things are always the good things.

Faculty: As with any higher-degree institute, IITJ is not different in terms of the amount of information you will gain from your teacher versus studying independently. The curriculum is mostly dependent on improving your academics, but we have certain communication, social, and sports classes as well for our holistic growth.

Other: Education is excellent at the IITs excluding BHI and Hyderabad.

Great place to build your future with right guidance.

Placements: Civil and infrastructure engineering is the new branch at IITJ. Its first batch will be placed in 2024 while other branches have a great placement till now. The highest package was 60 Lacs, and the average package was 20 Lacs in 2020. Students in my course are currently preparing for internships.

Infrastructure: IITJ has a great infrastructure. It has good Wi-Fi connectivity in all the buildings. The library is always available, and desktops are also there in it to help the student with their studies. Hostel facilities are also good. The mess food has a lot of variety, and the menu is decided according to the choice of students through a google form. It has a health center for medical and a sports complex for almost all the sports available.

Faculty: Teachers graduated from the top engineering colleges in India like IITs. They have an experience of many years in teaching and research. The course has a wide variety which helps the student to know their interests and build their career. Semester exams contains the content being taught during the semester and have relative grading system.

Overall, our campus is very good and faculty members are very supportive.

Placements: Around 90-95% of students are placed. The average salary package offered is around 20 LPA. Companies that are recruiting are Google, Goldman Sachs, Amazon, Adobe, Siemens, TCS, etc. Around 60-70% of students are doing internships in companies like Google, Adobe, Microsoft, etc. Software developer, analyser, and research roles are offered. The government focuses more and increases the budget for infrastructure. So, it is a good opportunity for this course students to get a good salary package from good companies.

Infrastructure: In our college, every classroom is equipped with a projector, boards, and speakers for better learning. High-speed internet Wi-Fi is available everywhere on the whole campus which is in libraries, hostels, labs, departments, and a mess. Each student gets a single room with an air-conditioner and laundry services. Hostels have a common room with a TV, sports room, gym, table tennis, music room, study room, reading room, and many things for the comfort of students.

Faculty: Teachers in our college are very helpful and have immense knowledge of their fields. They are absolutely well qualified. Their teaching quality is very good and they use the latest technologies to teach us. The course curriculum is very relevant and it makes students industry-ready.

You will have many opportunities in IIT Jodhpur to build your career.

Placements: From our course, only 42 students got placed. I don't know about placements of civil because this course is started this year only. However, I think its placements are average because of IIT reputation. The government focuses more and increases the budget for infrastructure. So, it is a good opportunity for this course students to get a good salary package from good companies.

Infrastructure: All facilities which are required for students are available here. Air-conditioners are available in all rooms, and you will also get a single room in the hostel. The speed of Wi-Fi is good, and you can browse anything with this speed. The food facility is not much better, and you can also play any game on the campus.

Faculty: All the teachers in IIT Jodhpur are much intelligent and knowledgeable. They all are well qualified, and we understand their lectures much easily. All teachers are very friendly with the students, and you can share anything with them. There is proper counselling for every student in our college every month.

Other: If your parents' income is less than 1 lac, then you do not need to pay tuition fees. This is also for SC and ST students.
