Candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering / Mining Engineering / Electrical Engineering / Computer Science / Electronics Engineering / Information Technology / Geoinformatics with marks/CPI not below mentioned minimum marks (or Cumulative Performance Index (CPI) of 5.5 on a 10-point scale) or minimum pass marks (or CPI) whichever is greater to be eligible to apply.
Candidates belonging to the Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribes who have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering are eligible to apply irrespective of the marks/CPI.
Candidates who have Master of Science in Earth Science and related areas or Geography / Physics/ Mathematics/ Environmental Sciences with marks/CPI not below 55% marks (or Cumulative Performance Index (CPI) of 5.5 on a 10-point scale) or minimum pass marks (or CPI) whichever is greater. Candidates with MSc degree must have mathematics as one of the subjects at BSc level are also eligible to apply.
