Minimum Marks Required in JEE Advanced 2026 for IIT: The conducting IIT will release the minimum JEE Advanced marks candidates need to be eligible for IIT admission with the JEE Advanced 2026 result. Until the JEE Advanced 2026 cutoff marks are released, candidates can check and analyse the cutoff from the previous few years.
The candidates have to pass the minimum marks prescribed by the authorities in each subject of the JEE Advanced exam individually and also in total. The marks obtained by a candidate in Physics in JEE Advanced 2026 will be equal to the marks of the Physics part of Paper 1 and Paper 2. Marks obtained in Chemistry and Mathematics will be calculated in the same way. The total aggregate marks will be the total marks including paper 1 and paper 2 together.
JEE Advanced cutoff mark is the minimum marks for inclusion in the rank list. The authority will prepare the JEE Advanced rank based on the marks of students including other factors. Higher the rank high the chance of admission to the top IITs.
