IIT Patna college honest review.

Placements: The placement in our college was very good as it was one of the top engineering colleges of India. The placement percentage was around 80 percent. The highest package offered in our course was 24 LPA. Top recruiters in our course were Larsen and Turbo, Vedanta LTD, etc.

Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure were top-notch for the Metallurgical and Materials Engineering branch. Wi-Fi facility, modern labs, and central library were present in the college campus. Hostel facility was also good. Washrooms were clean, fresh water was available, and a sports complex was present.

Faculty: The teachers were well qualified. All of them had years of teaching experience in reputed universities. They were very knowledgeable in their respective subjects. Teaching quality was excellent. Course curriculum was relevant to the modern industry. Students participated in various competitions that made them industry-ready.

Decent faculty, good labs, and helpful placement support.

Placements: I am from the M.Tech batch of IIT Patna. Around 80% of students were placed. The highest package is 18 LPA, the lowest is 5 LPA, and the average was 9 LPA. Companies like Amazon, TCS, and Wipro came. About 85% got internships in DRDO, ISRO, and startups. Roles like developer and research assistant are offered.

Infrastructure: IIT Patna has good infrastructure. The department has fast Wi-Fi, modern labs, AC classrooms, and a big library with many books. Hostel rooms are fine, but sometimes not properly clean. Mess food is average, and canteen food is a little better. A medical room is available for health issues. Sports ground and indoor games are also present. The campus is neat and peaceful.

Faculty: IIT Patna has good Wi-Fi, a big library, smart classrooms, and the lab is also nice. Hostel rooms are okay, but sometimes cleaning is not proper. Mess food is not very tasty, canteen food is better. A medical room is there for small help. Sports ground and games are also available. It's quite good.

Other: I took this course because I like research and teaching. The best thing is the good lab and project work. Some subjects can be more updated. The campus has events, fests, and tech fests also. The crowd is good, and the campus is clean. Scholarships are given to many. Sports and club activities are also there. Connectivity by bus and train is okay.
