Placements: The placements are above average. The highest package of this year is 55 LPA which is off-campus. The average package is 4 LPA-5 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Microsoft, Amazon, and many others. The internship has to be done after the 3rd year. It can be done outside or by reference of any faculty.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very good. No other college is like this. One of the best infrastructure colleges. The facilities like Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, and library are well-maintained. The food must be changed according to the North and South. Sports and games are of next level.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful, highly qualified, and knowledgeable. For the mechanical and electrical branch the facilities are next level. They look over every student. Also in the computer science branch many of them are good at teaching. Semester exams are kept and the pass percentage is kept on a relative scale.

Satisfied with college but not with placements.

Placements: The percentage of students placed is around 70 percent. The highest package is 28 Lacs, the average package is around 10 Lacs, and the lowest package is 3.6 Lacs. Top recruiting companies for my course are Amazon, Flipkart, Wipro, and Deloitte. Around 55% of students got internships from my course, with companies such as Legato, TCS, Edureka, Jio, etc. The top role offered for my course is AI Engineer.

Infrastructure: The college provides Wi-Fi facilities in labs, classrooms, seminar halls, and in the hostel. An ethernet facility is also provided. The library facility of the college is satisfying, and all the books required for the course are available in the library. Classrooms are good for second-year and onward, but for first-year students are not good. In the hostel, two persons get a room. The quality of hostel food is decent, and all the food options are also available in the canteen. The college has its own medical facilities and an ambulance for emergency situations. The college provides all the major games except for a cricket ground.

Faculty: All the teachers are well-qualified, and they have completed their Ph.D. from top institutes like NIT and IIT. Teaching quality is satisfying. My course curriculum is relevant and updated over the years as per requirement. Yes, it makes students industry-ready. The college offers relative grading, and semester exams are not very tough. The pass percentage is around ninety percent.

Other: I chose this course because I am interested in automation and also because AI is a trending field. The best thing about my course is they start teaching about artificial intelligence in the first year instead of just focusing on mathematics. The annual fest of the college is Solasta, which is good, and the college also organizes several events. The only problem that arises during the event is the language issue. The college has a problem regarding the mobile tower. The college also offers various scholarship schemes, which are mainly for OBC, SC, and ST categories.

Good infrastructure of college but lacking in placements and unwanted rules.

Placements: Fifty-nine percent of students were placed. The highest package was 32.5 lacs per annum. The average package was 8.2 lacs per annum. Top recruiters are Capgemini, Flipkart, Google, Mahindra and Mahindra, Infosys, TCS, Deltx, Zydus, GATE Corpus, Solar, Maq Software, and Goal 10x.

Infrastructure: A central library is available. Many labs are available, like an artificial intelligence and data science lab, an Internet of Things lab, a drones lab, a data network lab, ECE labs, and a central workshop. The food was the worst in the college. There are good medical facilities and average sports facilities. Wi-Fi is available in classrooms also.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful and qualified. Courses are okay but need improvement in some things. Maximum students will pass the semester; there is no need to worry. The process is that there is one midterm exam and one semester exam. The semester exam is worth 50 marks, the midterm 30, and internals 20.

Other: Presently, there is demand in artificial intelligence and data science, so I opted for this course. The rules are the worst in the college, as it has the environment of an intermediate college; it doesn't feel like a B.Tech college. Fests are going on nowadays. Scholarship facilities are also available.

Quite a good college in terms of infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: The highest package offered was about 27 Lacs this year, and the average package for CSE this year was about 9 Lacs, and the students who got placed were about 90 percent for the computer science branch. For mechanical and ECE, the placement statistics were not that good; they were just okay.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is quite good in first year, they teach about all the streams and practical experiments are done for each subject. You can change stream here by scoring a good CGPA. Hostels are also quite good. Common washrooms are provided for boys. There are four hostels in total.

Faculty: Personally, I didn't like the faculty that much, as most of the time I don't understand what they are teaching, and classes are boring. Curriculum is okay. Exams are held very frequently, like semester exams are held after every one month, plus making record books takes quite a lot of time.

Other: There are no events as such held by the college. It's the students who are conducting the events for every festival, but on a small scale. The scenic beauty here really feels like heaven.

Honest review of IIIT Kurnool.

Placements: The highest placement from this college till date is of 1.23 crores, Amazon Berlin, which was off-campus. Till date, the highest placement on campus is of Rs. 24 lacs. Most of the seniors from the previous year were placed well, with around 60%. Our previous recruiters include TCS, Infosys, Amazon, Edureka, Jio, Wipro, Mindtree, etc. If you need any more information about this, I strongly recommend you visit the college's placement page. Here, you will get an accurate idea about this.

Infrastructure: There are different labs for each course: Computer Science, ECE, Mech. The new buildings have been accomplished with labs that meet the requirements of today. Moreover, the campus has a good Wi-Fi connection; however, some people might have issues with the mobile network. The institute also has a central library. The buildings are all in good condition since they are newly built. There are 4 hostels: Kalam Halls of Residence, MVHR hostel, SRK Hostel, Kalpana Chawla Hall of Residence for Girls. In hostels, you have every necessary facility: water cooler, TV room/common room, LAN, etc. B.Ed and table are provided, but you need to get your own mattress. There is a bit of a shortage of water during the summers, owing to the low water table. However, this is also taken care of by arranging water tankers as an alternative. There is a dining hall, Akshaya Dining Hall: one part is for girls and three parts are for boys.

Faculty: Courses here are designed in such a way that they meet the students' requirements. Recently, there was a change in the course structure for the upcoming batches enrolling in a program. To be neutral on both sides, while reviewing the new structure, I felt there were many subjects included, particularly for the CSE and AI branches, which were previously not taught here but were of utmost importance considering the current IT industry's requirements, which I really appreciate. However, some of the tough courses were all added in the same semester, which I feel might burden the person. If we look at the overall structure of the course, then I think it is very good, and ultimately it depends on the person how they work out things in their favor. Coming to the qualification of the faculty, almost every teacher has a Ph.D. degree. There are many teachers who teach excellently. I remember there was this teacher of ours who used to teach Probability and Statistics; he was just fabulous at his job. He made things seem so simple that almost even the weak students managed to pass. He was strict, though, but nailed at his job. There is no such thing as a pass percentage since it is relatively grading. You just give your best. Coming to the difficulty of the semester exams, it totally depends upon your course instructor and what level he sets.

Other: Factors that I considered while taking this college via JOSAA/CSAB counseling were: 1. It is one of the 5 IIITs which was initially established by the Government of India under the IIIT ACT. 2. Back in 2021, when we joined this college, there were not many things or facilities available in the initial campus, but now when I look back, we have come a long way, and there are many excellent facilities available at our campus. 3. It is closer to Hyderabad and Bengaluru, which are the IT hubs, so many opportunities may knock at your door. 4. Since it is a fully funded Central Government college, the fees are much less as compared to the other IIITs, which run in PPP (Public Private Mode). 5. Also, since it is a Central Government college, the facilities provided here will be of much better quality compared to the other State or Private Industries. The campus life is good, but I won't say that it is as perfect as the IITs. It's a pretty nice place since we are on a roll, and many new things are expected to start, which will definitely enhance the campus life scale that a student uses. As of now, we have: 1. Food corners (Delhi Wala Chaat) 2. A supermarket shop, where you can get almost everyday necessities. 3. There is one sports arena, which has many sports facilities like a box cricket ground, basketball, kabaddi ground, badminton court, etc. 4. A gym for fitness enthusiasts. 5. Clubs such as GDSC, Sahityas Club (for people who love writing and recruiting), Coding Club, Data Works Club, Photography Club, Dance Club, Astronomy Club. Also, the institute has its annual cultural fest, Solasta, in which other college students also participate, and trust me when I say this, it was fun.

Satisfied with the academics and hope for an improvement in placements.

Placements: Almost 60–70% of students have gotten placements and most of them have opted for further studies and have performed exceptionally well in GATE 2024. The highest package was 16 LPA and the average package stood at 9 LPA. This upcoming year, there are many changes in the placement cell so numbers will definitely change.

Infrastructure: All the classrooms are newly constructed with proper arrangements of projectors, Wi-Fi for students and a charging point for every seat for using a laptop during classroom hours. Hostel life is excellent; one can easily see the beautiful view of the city from the hilltop.

Faculty: All the teachers are appointed by the Central Government and have a PhD degree so they give their 100% in teaching. The college has a relatively strict grading system; hence, it is very tough to get good grades. One has to be competitive to get good grades and attendance is mandatory for all.

Other: The reason for choosing AI is the trend and demand for skilled and educated people in that field. The only disappointment is the attendance issue. The college is very strict regarding attendance.

One of the greatest central institute under national importance is our IIITDM Kurnool.

Placements: Around 90 percent of students were placed in my course. The Packages that are offered in CSE and Artificial Intelligence 2023 are written below: the highest Package-28 Lacs per annum the lowest Package-8.3 Lacs per annum Average Package-12.13 Lacs per annum Top recruiting companies are amazon, Cognizant, Capgemini etc.

Infrastructure: In the institute the Wi-Fi can be accessed 24/7. Here the students are given with login credentials to use the Wi-Fi. From the last 1year the infrastructure is going too fast. The classrooms will be neat. Here we had sports arena and indoor stadium. The sports arena consists of football court, volleyball court, basketball court, cricket turf. When coming to mess food it is not too bad or good.

Faculty: Here are the lecturers are highly qualified and knowledgeable and all of them are from central institutes like iits, nits, iiits, gftis etc. Here the semester exams are too tough and the institute follow relatively grading. Here we had 2minor exams and one end sem exam per each semester.

Other: In the institute students can avail national scholarships and especially Andhra Pradesh state students can avail jagananna vidya deveena.

It is one of the emerging institutes worth joining if you prefer good faculty and academics.

Placements: The placements are quite good. Off-campus, two alumni got an NRI salary package of 70 LPA and the other is 1.3 crores per annum at Amazon Berlin. The highest salary package offered on campus is around 35 LPA for the CSE branch. The average salary package offered is 10 LPA. I hope placements will improve in the near future till the current batch is out. About 70% of students were placed in total. The placements are improving every day. Samsung, TCS, Wipro, Cognizant, and Accenture are major recruiters.

Infrastructure: Hostels are not so good in our college. A new building will be ready after December 2022 which will be 10 storeyed and many new hostels will be ready till that time. So if you are planning to enroll, you may initiate your decision. The college will be fully constructed within a few months. The Wi-Fi connection at the lab is good enough but the hostel is poor. The library is impressive and has every book that teachers refer to in class. So no need to buy books. The classrooms are spacious and beautiful. There is a lot of greenery which makes the mood jolly and the mind open for creative thoughts. Mess, in the current situation, is average not very good. Medical facilities are quite expensive. Our college has oxygen cylinders, medicines, and qualified medical staff for emergency use. Free of cost medicines are provided including vitamins if needed. There is no provision of sports and games except a table tennis court in the hostel.

Faculty: The teachers are also very cool and calm. They will teach in a very manageable format with no ambiguities. Faculty members are the best part here. They try to solve each child's query and take the headache of each child who is absent in other government institutes. The guest faculty is overqualified and also extremely subject-oriented. Sharma sir who teaches economics is the best guest faculty as he makes class interesting. Other faculty members include sir of CSE depatment who will teach at a slow pace so that everything will get into your mind. He is an all-time favorite. He is very cool and calm with students. He greets everyone with a smile and his teaching style is smooth. Along with that, he is an ideal teacher whether be it value-wise or knowledge-wise, our teachers never lag, this is the best part of college that has many genius brains as their faculty. They don't expect to take holiday. Even if you are not well, don't be absent or everything gets to vain. The knowledge alone can never make someone industry-ready. We have to practice to code chef hacker rank but the level of assignments given is commendable and of competitive level. The teachers urge you to practice from code chef and hacker rank and under peer pressure. If you have a good set of one will also help you a lot. The college does not give free marks. So if someone writes correctly then only marks are given. There is no mark for stories and the mark is awarded only to pointwise answers with correct information.
