The admission committee will release the GUJCET counselling session. GD Goenka University cutoff is released annually for the various courses offered by the university. GD Goenka University admission to several undergraduate and postgraduate degrees is offered by either merit or the scores of the entrance exams. 

As far as I know, direct admission is not possible, but not sure though. For admission in institute of technology, the university considers the JEE percentile or the GUJCET percentile. On the basis of the merit score of the student, he/she is alloted a branch. It then depends on the student whether he/she wants to accept the offered branch or wait and see if their branch gets upgraded.

The institute has disclosed the placement rate for BTech branches for the academic year 2023-24. The highest placement rate of 96% was recorded for BTech CSE branch. For branches like EIE and ME, the placement rate was 95%. The placement percentage for ECE and Chemical Engineering was 85% and 83%. The percentage for Civil Engineering and Electrical Engineering was the same i.e. 80%.
