There are two types of GATE counselling that offer admission to M.Tech courses and programmes -
- COAP - it is a portal through which that offers M.Tech admission at IITs and IISc Bangalore
- CCMT - is a portal through which candidates have to register for M.Tech admission at NITs, IIITs, and GFTIs.
The seats are divided in three categories. Categories are All India Quota (60%), State Quota (25%) and NRI (15%). All India Quota seats are filled by University. Separate registration on ITNU official website is done. The University releases list of selected students. Selection is based on Bachelor's or GATE merit score. State Quota seats are filled by ACPC. Candidates need to register and participate in counselling. It releases merit list of selected students based on GATE merit score.
Both ITNU and L.J.I.E.T. are private institutes. Fees of ITNU is INR 3.8 Lacs while L.J.I.E.T. fee is INR 2.1 lakh. The highest package offered to L.J.I.E.T. students is INR 6 LPA. ITNU the highest package is INR 20.4 LPA. There are other factors as well for deciding which college is better. Some of the factors include number of seats, location, etc.
Yes, the college provides hostel for MCA students. The hostel is provided for both girls and boys. Hostel rooms are available in single, double and triple occupancy. Both AC and Non-AC rooms are available. Facilities like Cable TV, common rooms, high-speed Wi-Fi, etc. are provided.

As per my information the per semester tuition fees for the same would be somewhere above 1.2 lakhs. There would be some other fee details like, examination fees or some deposits which would add up in this amount. For exact fee structure, one can browse on the website. Facility of scholarships is also available for students who qualified GATE exam and for Non-Gate students as well, based on their merit.

The eligibility is Bachelor's degree from a recognised university with minimum aggregate of 50%. For Electronics & Communication Engineering department, eligibility is BTech (minimum 50% aggregate) in relevant course and GATE score. Seats are allocated in All India Quota, State Quota and NRI Quota. State Quota seats are allocated by ACPC. Seats under All India Quota are allotted by University.
Yes, M.Tech is available in ITNU. The course is offered in full-time mode for two-years. ITNU offers course in 10 branches. Some of the available courses are ME (Design Engineering), VLSI Designing, etc. It is further divided in four semesters. Some subjects are common in first semester for CSE (all branches). Common subjects include Data structure and Algorithm, etc. The course also includes submission of major and minor project. It is mandatory for all students to complete an internship in last year/semester.

Yes, there are a number of undergraduate scholarship programmes available through the Institute of Technology at Nirma University. These are a some of the scholarships that are offered:
- Merit Scholarship Nirma: Top 5 students receive Rs.1,000,000 annually each. Subsequent 20 pupils: Rs.90,000 year each. Next 25 pupils: Rs.50,000 year each.
- Scholarship Based on Merit-Cum-Means: The top 25 pupils, whose parents make up to Rs.2.5 LPA, receive Rs.90,000 annually apiece. The following 25 pupils whose parents earn up to Rs.4.0 LPA: Rs.50,000 annually each. An additional twenty-five kids, whose parents earn up to Rs.6.0 LPA (Rs.25,000 annually).

Depending on a person's hobbies and professional objectives, several courses at the Institute of Technology, Nirma University may be the "best" option. But the institution is well known for its engineering programmes, especially in the areas of mechanical, electrical, chemical, computer Science and engineering, and electronics and communication engineering.
The good placement records and significant demand for IT experts make the university's Computer Science and Engineering programme particularly well-liked. The faculty is highly experienced, the facilities are state-of-the-art, and the curriculum is tailored to be both demanding and applicable to the industry.
As far as I know, direct admission is not possible, but not sure though. For admission in institute of technology, the university considers the JEE percentile or the GUJCET percentile. On the basis of the merit score of the student, he/she is alloted a branch. It then depends on the student whether he/she wants to accept the offered branch or wait and see if their branch gets upgraded.
ITNU applications have started from March first week. Last date to apply is June second week. Students should also check out important GATE dates. It is advised to keep updated with the university website for regular updates.

The latest 2025 JEE Mains cutoff for BTech in Information Technology has not been released publically yet. Though previous years such as 2024 had the cutoff at 742874, this cutoff was the Last Round Closing Rank for the General All India category.

The Nirma University Ahmedabad cutoff depends on National or State-level exam scores. To receive admission at Nirma University Gota students must appear for exams such as JEE Main, CAT and GUJCET, etc.. Students who meet the initial cutoff of these exams must also appear for the Personal Interview
