If you are from a poorer background, then this college would be your best choice.
Placements: Approximately 60-70% of students get placed in Jabalpur Engineering College. The lowest package is around 3 LPA, and the highest is about 12 LPA. Top recruiters are TCS, and 20% of students get internship opportunities. Most roles are for Salem, and some are for teaching-related roles. The college is good if you are from a poorer background.
Infrastructure: Classes are decent. Don’t expect much from JEC. Classrooms are old and not well-furnished. No Wi-Fi is available in classrooms. The library is decent, and free Wi-Fi is available. The canteen is decent, but the hostel and mess are not in good condition. Only a few sports are available on campus.
Faculty: Teachers are rude, strict, and egoistic. The syllabus is outdated and not in line with the requirements of today's industry. Semester exams are of a medium level, and they are all conducted in the presence of rude and egoistic teachers. College life is also decent. Don't expect much from Jabalpur Engineering College.
Other: I chose Information Technology because I have an interest in teaching, and I want a good placement. In college, only a few fests and a few events take place. The campus is old and feels like we are in a jungle. Only a few extracurricular activities take place in college.

Good learning environment, moderate placements, and scope for improvement.
Placements: Around 60-70 percent of students are placed. Average package is 6 LPA the highest is around 12 LPA to 14 LPA and the lowest is 3 LPA. Top recruiters included TCS Infosys Wipro and Capgemini. About 50-60 percent secured internships in similar firms. Roles offered are mainly software engineer analyst and associate engineer.
Infrastructure: Our department has decent facilities with Wi-Fi, well-equipped labs, spacious classrooms, and access to a good library. Hostel facilities are average, with basic amenities. Mess food is manageable though not great, while the canteen offered better options. Medical facilities are available on campus, and sports infrastructure supports both indoor and outdoor games, encouraging student participation.
Faculty: Faculty members are generally helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable, with most having a good command of their subjects. Teaching quality is satisfactory, though more practical exposure could be added. The curriculum is relevant but not fully industry-oriented. Semester exams are of moderate difficulty, and with regular study, most students cleared easily, leading to a high pass percentage.
Other: I am from the B.Tech IT batch currently in first year. I chose this course due to my interest in technology and career opportunities. The best part is the supportive faculty members and hands-on labs. However, more industry exposure and advanced electives would improve it. Campus has good fests, active clubs, scholarships, and decent connectivity with a friendly crowd.

I am satisfied with it because of the value of money and the less attendance issue.
Placements: The placement record of our course has been quite encouraging in recent years, with a significant percentage of students securing job offers through campus recruitment drives. On average, 40-50% of students from the course get placed successfully, reflecting the effectiveness of both our academic course curriculum and industry-oriented training initiatives.
Infrastructure: Our department provides essential facilities to support both academic and extracurricular activities learning. Classrooms are equipped. The department has computers and internet availability. The hostel facilities are decent for the price, which is Rs. 1,800. Sports and extracurricular activities are negligible in college.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and well-qualified. They have knowledge of their subject. Some teachers are PhD holders. The course curriculum is not that relevant, and it does not make students industry-ready. Semester exams are not that difficult and are easy to score. The pass percentage is 80%.
Other: I have a keen interest in software technology, so I chose this course. The best thing is placements in that field. I wish that the course curriculum would be updated. Events and fests are not happening here.

The college is really worth money.
Placements: Placements are not so good in JEC, but if we compare with the fee, then placements are good. The highest package offered in JEC is 18 LPA. The average package ranges from 6-8 LPA. The lowest package is 3.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies that visit JEC are TCS, IBM, Infosys, and Wipro. Internship opportunities are less.
Infrastructure: Jabalpur Engineering College has very old infrastructure. Computer labs are below average, and many computers are not working. The library is good in a big hall and a silent room where we can study without any disturbance. We can also issue books for free by using our ID card for the whole semester. Hostels have good rooms, but there are common washrooms among three or four rooms. The food available in the mess is below average. The canteen is also below average. There are no such kind of medical facilities. There is an SBI bank in college. In terms of sports and games, JEC is good.
Faculty: Faculty members in JEC are very nice, very friendly, and knowledgeable. The course curriculum is not good, and it's old. College exams are not so difficult, and we can easily pass exams with a good CGPA if we give one hour daily to our studies. 5 CGPA is the pass percentage.
Other: Only a big sports fest happens in JEC called Aavahan, and a small tech fest.

Placements: I am from the Information Technology branch. The head of the department of my branch is also the TPO of the placement cell at Jabalpur Engineering College. The highest package is 15 LPA, the average package is 3 LPA, and the lowest package is 1 LPA. Around 50% of students get placed in the Information Technology branch.
Infrastructure: There is a small canteen on campus. Limited sports facilities are available.
Faculty: Each department has separate faculty members. The courses are irrelevant to the current situation of the job market. It doesn't make students industry-ready. Semester exams are easy to crack. You can score good marks just by studying previous year papers.
