The selection for JNEC Aurangabad BTech course is based on PERA CET, MHT CET, JEE Main and MGMU-CET score. Additionally, candidates must pass HSC or its equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry or Biotechnology or Biology or Technical Vocational subject or Computer Science or Information Technology or Informatics Practices or Agriculture or Engineering Graphics or Business Studies with at least 45% aggregate (40% aggregate, in case of Backward class categories and Persons with Disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only) in the above subjects taken together to apply for BTech course. After the completion of the selection rounds, aspirants need to pay a course fee to confirm their seat in the college. The total seat intake for BTech course is 630. The total tuition fee for BTech is INR 1.50 lakh. Yes, Indian national candidates must pass HSC or its equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry or Biotechnology or Biology or Technical Vocational subject or Computer Science or Information Technology or Informatics Practices or Agriculture or Engineering Graphics or Business Studies with at least 45% aggregate (40% aggregate, in case of Backward class categories and Persons with Disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only) in the above subjects taken together to apply for BTech course. The preference shall be given to the candidate obtaining non-zero positive score in JEE Mains Paper-I over the candidates who obtained a non-zero score in MGMU-CET/ MHT CET/ PERA CET. Aspirants who have passed Diploma in Engineering and Technology with at least 45% aggregate 40% aggregate, in case of Backward Class categories and Persons with Disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only) can also apply for the BTech course. 

For admission to a BTech programme at Jawaharlal Nehru Engineering College, the aspirant must fulfill the course-specific eligibility criteria. Thus, only the applicants who have passed Class 12 with a 45% aggregate (40% for Backward class categories and Persons with Disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only) are eligible for admission.
