B.Tech. in Electronics Engineering - Batch of 2026

I am satisfied with our college and course.
Placements: Our college is for research and development in the field of electronics, so if you join this college for placements, then it is a little bit difficult. The highest salary package offered is 25 LPA. The average salary package offered is 8 LPA. Top recruiting companies are TCS, Wipro, Intel, etc.
Infrastructure: We have very good labs for PCB designing. A VLSI lab, a 3D printing lab, a consumer electronics lab, an embedded system lab, a power electronics lab, a virtual networking lab, a fiber optics lab, etc., are available in our college. We have a very attractive hostel. We can access free Wi-Fi. It is available 24X7. The campus has a library.
Faculty: All teachers are helpful and kind. Professors are scientists. They are very supportive. Semester exams are a little bit difficult. All questions are asked from the syllabus. If you attend all classes every day, exams are easy.
Other: I opted for this course because it is objected oriented. Our college is the best for this branch in India. If you want to do research in the field of electronics, then this college is a good option in India.

Infrastructure: Excellent n pleasant infrastructure. Well-equipped laboratory providing best practical knowledge. In campus mess n hostel facilities for both boys and girls. Well-equipped library and plenty of well knowed technical magazines for keeping the students updated of new technologies.
Faculty: Highly qualified and experienced Professors. Course Curriculum is totally based on the current industry requirement. Regular workshop conducted by well-known industrialists. Regular industry visit that are engaged in manufacturing of electronics equipments n technologies.

The best infrastructure and labs.
Placements: Ours was the first batch to graduate from this esteemed institute. At our time, there were only a few companies which had long-term committed tie-ups with our college with regards of placements/ internships and training purpose, which included Trimax, Verroc Industries, Sterlite Technology, and Videocon (DTH Manufacturing plant). Our college hosts many recruitment drives at various location in and around Aurangabad. Many students got an opportunity to work with the industrial experts in various industries in good cities like Pune, Nagpur, Bangalore (Tata). As the college is in Aurangabad which is considered as the main hub of industries (MIDC, Walunj), there is a fair chance of getting a good job in industries. The placement cell at NIELIT Aurangabad is capable enough to provide jobs not only to its students but also to students of other colleges as it conducts mega job fairs in this district.
Infrastructure: The college campus is located on the university campus. Also, the main market is at a distance of 5-4 km away from the institute. The campus is around 18 acres and it is considered as one of the biggest colleges for a single branch (only electronic system engineering is offered in this college no other branches are available). The campus is CCNA certified, and the complete campus is Wi-Fi enabled, there is a separate lab for almost every subject. Full freedom is given to the students to perform the practicals themselves and learn as much as they want (provided they don't skip their regular classes). There is no permanent tenure canteen, the canteen is kept purely on contract basis, and preferences of students are strongly considered, the menu is prepared by students and given to the mess contractor. One among the best PCB labs is with us. The hostel facility is available inside the campus for boys and girls. The hostel facility is provided by the university.
Faculty: All the teachers are well-qualified and possess great knowledge in their particular field. Mostly interactive methods are used to teach the students and regular seminars are conducted on a regular basis. Once a while, an external faculty is called to deliver a lecture on the subjects in which the students need an external help. The practical knowledge is given more importance rather than bookish knowledge as there are more practical sessions when compared to the theory sessions. Full support is given by the faculty both professionally and personally.
Other: The tech fest is organised every year, it is named as Elechrome, as a part of extracurricular activities, an annual sports meet is conducted. There is a basketball court, cricket field, volleyball court and badminton court, all the playing equipment is provided by the college on request.

Do not take admission here.
Placements: The first pass out batch for B.Tech was in 2019. The placement was around 5% with an average package of 25k per month. The companies that visited were local and mostly was employing for sales and marketing. In 2018, the number of placement increased to around 20% (most of the students didn't participate in the placement) with an average package of 18k per month. Companies like Naniko Pvt Ltd, Trimax and other local companies were there. Internship of six months is being provided in Siemens for the final year students. There is a placement cell in the college, but it is highly inefficient.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is poor. Internet connectivity is a problem. The number of classrooms is not sufficient. The medical facility is provided. Sports and games facilities are good. The quality of labs is extremely bad, and there is a lack of components and space. The quality of food is the worst anyone can find in a college. Most of the students opted to live outside the hostel just because of the quality of food provided in the canteen. Hostel rooms are good but only for boys. The hostel is not provided for girls inside the college campus, and alternate accommodation is provided in university girls' hostel. It is at a walkable distance.
Faculty: The teachers sure do hold the degree and designation, but there is no such thing as teaching in this college. I would not recommend anyone to pursue your career in this college. Around 70% of the course is taken by the M.Tech students, and professors don't bother themselves to teach anything. Few professors are good, but they can't change much. No industry exposure is provided. The biggest problem is the curriculum, the degree is provided in electronics system engineering. This course is not known to many, and while applying for the compitative exam, you will be forced to choose a different discipline (electronics and communication), and in some cases, you will not be allowed to opt. This course is good but not in demand.
Other: Every year, there is a cultural fest, traditional day celebration, and our fest, Elechrome. The campus is surrounded by a high mountain and nothing much is there around the college.

Review of National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology, Aurangabad.
Placements: This college is not too old, so there is a problem of recognition as many companies don't know about this college which is the main thing for a few placements here. Most of the students haven't received any job offer yet. However, in future placements will improve.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is quite good in terms of hostel, roads and streets. Classrooms and other amenities of this college are average. The college authorities provide Wi-Fi connection with some restrictions, but the speed is good.
Faculty: Faculty of this college is not worthy as they are charging salary from the government. Some of the teachers don't even know there subject, and they have no prominent experience in that and thus affecting the students' studies. This course is not recognised in many colleges if you want to pursue a masters in this field only.

Placements: The placements are good, not extraordinary. The pass out batch got placed for an average package of 3 lakhs per annum. Companies like Sterlite, Videocon, Byju's, CMIA, etc. were there. Regarding internships, our students got pretty good internships in companies such as BSNL, BHEL, ONGC, etc. The highest stipend offered was 5k per month by BSNL.
Infrastructure: Very good. A lush green 18-acre campus and a perfect environment for better studies. The classrooms are spacious. The labs are very sophisticated and well equipped. we have got a CNC lab and a 3D printing lab which is the only lab that is located inside a college's premises all over India.
Faculty: The faculty are very knowledgeable but they are not that helpful. The teaching methods are of a typical Indian engineering college. The teacher to student ratio is 1:15. The course curriculum is very well developed. The industrial exposure is very good. The students out here have their industrial visits more frequently than any other college.

It has a great scope for improvement in future, but as of now, performs mediocre.
Placements: The training and placement cell was inaugurated last year, and the 2017 batch was the first to graduate from our college. As this is the first year for its placements, there weren't such good companies coming in to offer the jobs. The average package offered would be around 3-4 lpa, and some got placed through off-campus. Since only about 70 students were graduating and most of them opting for higher education, the ratio was remarkably low but out of choice. The companies that visited weren't any big electronics company as we know and the job fair conducted also had the students coming in from Aurangabad. As of now, there are no internships offered here, but there is a large scope for it in the coming years. We also hope the placements to be better in the upcoming years with more and more industries visiting our college.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is quite reputed. The campus is around 16-acres in the area with a lush greenery all around. There is just not a central Wi-Fi provided on the main college campus, but there are good labs like the software development lab or the model career centre with good internet and quite fast PCs. Most other labs are equipped with good components, and the PCB lab is the highlight of all. It offers opportunity to fabricate your own design on a PCB. The facilities like 3D printing, CNC machine and other PCB fabrication provide good practical knowledge. We have a volleyball court, basketball court, cricket ground, tennis court and separate gymnasium for both boys and girls. There is also a canteen inside the campus which doesn't really provide anything good to eat, but there's a university canteen nearby to have good snacks. The hostel rooms are good, and few rooms are also hill facing with the ethernet connection. I haven't faced any infrastructure related issues until today and loved the environment here.
Faculty: The faculty here are mostly B grade and above level scientists and some guest lecturers coming in from the university or other areas. Some teachers are amazing and are ready to help with whatever you want. Some teachers don't encourage the student activities much and make the environment dull, but at the same time, a few are trying to make it great. A few of them being research scientists are knowledgeable but may lack good teaching techniques but might help if you can work hard along with them. If you can get behind the teacher to help you with some practical knowledge, then you can help yourself in learning a lot more. We don't have much industry exposure right now, but it is proposed to the R&D block in the college for real-time industry-related problems, it will be solved for sure with more exposure to the students. The course curriculum includes almost everything required for higher education preparation like Gate, IES, etc.
Other: If you require a lot of time to prepare for higher education or get into civil services, then this could be the right place for you since you will have ample of time to study for other things. The submissions will not be a big burden, and it will be easy to prepare for everything else too with good environment always keeping you fresh. If you wish that good teacher should guide you and train you for great technical knowledge, then this might not be a right place as you have to work hard and there will be no spoonfeeding. In fact, online lectures could always help you out in such cases that you have already chosen this place.

Be cautious before taking admission in this college. It could be dangerous for your career.
Placements: 1. There was no senior batch for B.Tech in this college as the first B.Tech batch was started in 2013 only. 2. Since there was no B.Tech batch I am going to tell you about the placements of M.Tech and diploma batches. This is a central government college and comes under the ministry of electronics & IT. The ministry and NIELIT are authorized to give a wing to ambitious Digital India Project. It is very regretful to say that NIELIT Aurangabad's authorities believe that there is no need to provide placements to its students as they feel they are smart enough to place themselves on their own. 3. Till now, not even a single student got any placement from the institute from the batch 2017 irrespective of their branches and streams. 4. 0 percent of students get placed every year by the college. Not even a single company visit the college for giving any kind of internship offer.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is really good. We have all the latest equipment and the only lab in the region for PCB manufacturing. All the components are provided for free if you want to do any project. All the lab assistants are really helpful. The canteen is a real mess. The college is not able to manage a canteen for even 120 students. Daily, there is chaos over food quality and money. You will not get any other eateries around or in the college. You have to walk 1.5 km even for getting a samosa. The college is 4 km from the university gate. There is a small market at the gate itself where you will get everything at a relatively higher cost.
Faculty: The faculty members are given the tag of scientists but I don't know when they are going to prove themselves worthy of it. If you look at their achievements, you will see that they are getting tons of money for nothing. Some of the faculty members are good but they are one or two. If any new recruitment happens, they will run away just because there is no respect for talent here. When I was in the school, there were times when a history teacher used to send mathematics teacher to take the class. Here they do the same. I remember two teachers- the first one was assigned to teach us (in different semesters) networks, electrical science, management, electronics circuit and devices and all these subjects. He taught us in different semesters and literally, he used to make a fool of us. The second was a ma'am who taught us 6 subjects and she didn't even know what she was teaching. The joke is she was planning to pursue law. The syllabus is out of the world. When we searched for the subjects for electronics in different colleges, we found that our curriculum had major topics such as communication control system missing and three-four subjects were repeated in different sems just tagging them as part 1 and part 2. Our syllabus was a copy paste just to get university approval.
Other: As far as exposure is concerned, Aurangabad is a hilly tribal area and not an educational hub. Though there are many companies of repute, they do not hire from Aurangabad's local engineering colleges as they fear poor, unskilled employees. I am not saying that everything is going to be bad but you have to make sure how you are going to utilize your 4 years. It will be better if you take admission in a good college where you get real exposure and far greater learning experience. At the end, I'm not posting this review because of any harsh memory or anything else. I am placed and working but many of my friends did not get any job because the college did not make any effort for them. Maybe in near future, if the staff changes, there might be some positive tinkering but that is not the case as of now.

First of all, congratulations on your success. Coming to the question for general category, it ranges from 30,000 to 40,000 (including hostel, library & connectivity) per year. If you are not financially strong, you can take an education loan.
