Infrastructure and placements are good, but I am not satisfied with the faculty members.

Placements: About 30% of the students from the ECE branch got placed with an average salary package of 3-5 LPA. Computer science and IT branches have good placements than ECE and mechanical branches. Still, the average salary package offered in CSE and IT is also around 3 LPA, which is not good. Mostly TCS hires students in bulk, and most of our seniors are not satisfied with TCS. I recommend off-campus placements instead of on-campus placements.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is not that bad. Labs and classrooms are also good. The hostel is great, but the mess food is not that good. Wi-Fi is only available in the library and hostel. For using hostel Wi-Fi, you need to use the login ID of a hostility. Library Wi-Fi timings are only from 4–5 PM for day scholars. For air-conditioned rooms in the hostel, you can turn on the air-conditioners only after 5 PM. If you are on campus without an ID card, you can be fined Rs. 100.

Faculty: I am not satisfied with faculty members and their teaching methods. In our ECE branch, there are only 3 teachers left until now. Most of the time, teachers are changed. So it is sometimes difficult for students to coordinate with new teachers. Most of the teachers are not able to explain clearly, and at last, we have to learn on our own.

Other: Our ECE branch is going to be shut down. So I prefer not to take ECE in JMIT. Our campus and fests are great, but the semester is nearly 4 months. Faculty members insist students to move away from the ground, canteen, campus and go to classrooms, and sometimes call their parents also.

Students who live nearby this college can opt for it.

Placements: Only a few students got placed in the ECE branch. The placements are good for CSE and IT students. The highest package offered in CSE is 10 Lacs per annum, the lowest package is 2.5 Lacs per annum, and the average package is 3.5 Lacs per annum. Only service-based companies like Infosys, TCS, Wipro, etc., come here. Only a few students got internships and got placed with a package of 3 LPA.

Infrastructure: Hostel facilities are available, but the rooms are bad. The infrastructure is poor. The campus is very congested. Wi-Fi is available, but the speed is average. The library is good and has all the books.

Faculty: The teachers are helpful. They provide all the notes to students, but they have to study on their own. Some teachers are very good. The management is good. They provide notes and are helpful at every moment. The course curriculum does not make students industry-ready.

Other: I chose this course because I am not interested in hardware and IoT. The placements for other branches must be improved. Various events are held in our college.

I am dissatisfied with this college.

Placements: There are no placements in this branch and also no internships. If any student will get placed, but the salary package offered is not good and is nearly around 2 LPA-3 LPA. None of the companies visited here for placements. In this college, only the computer science branch is a little bit good because only students of that branch get placements.

Infrastructure: There are very poor infrastructure and facilities here. In the lab, lots of machines are available, but they do not work. The Wi-Fi router does not work properly. There are no better medical and sports facilities as well as no equipment for sports. In the library, there is a bunch of books, but they are not required.

Faculty: There are the worst teaching staff members. There are no well-qualified teachers, and even students have better knowledge than teachers. Due to the worst teaching staff members, the exam results of students are the worst, and students will have lots of backlogs in semester exams. Permanent teachers are not available here, and teachers are hired only on a contract basis.

Other: Our college environment is not good, and about 80% of the crowd are only local students.

Infrastructure: Facilities are available in the hostel, but the rooms are congesting. The campus has Wi-Fi, but it is of average speed. The library in our college is good, and all books are available. All the labs are available in our college, but teachers are not that skilled to teach students. Food quality is not that good in the mess of the hostel. The food in the canteen is good, but it is also expensive. All the medical facilities are available in our college. All the sports are available in our college, like cricket, football etc.

Faculty: The teachers are helpful, and they provide all the notes to students. They have to study on their own. Teaching quality is not that good. Some teachers teach very well, but some teachers don't. The course curriculum does not make students industry-ready.

Other: I have chosen this course because I am interested in hardware and IoT. I wish our college to improve placements of other branches than CSE. Various events are held in our college, and activities also take place in our college. Only SC and BC scholarships are offered here.

Recommended because the seniors got placed in the best companies with good packages.

Placements: Mostly, 80% of students got placed in the college. The highest package offered is 8-10 LPA, the lowest package is 2-3 LPA, and the average package is 3.5-6 LPA. Recruiting companies are TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Cognizant etc. Some companies come to offer internships only if students have skills, but it completely depends on the student's performance. They offer mostly hardware roles, but if a student wants, he/she can get a software role too.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi facility is available in the college. Labs are properly arranged and maintained but lack equipment. Classrooms are good and have projectors, library and most of the books. But due to the large strength, students face problems sometimes. It also has novels and competitive exam books. The hostel has single, double and triple seater rooms. Mess food quality is average. The canteen is slightly costly. Medical facilities are available. Sports like cricket, basketball, volleyball, badminton, etc., are available.

Faculty: The faculty members are average, and they don't have the proper knowledge. Because of this, students cannot gain proper knowledge as per the industry requirements. Faculty members are not supportive.

Other: As the seats in all other courses are filled, I chose this course. I like it because I have an interest in operating electronic products.
