It has garden, sports space, dancing space, gym, hostel, mess, etc. Really nice.
Placements: I haven't applied for any internship so I don't know much but surely apply for it. I am really not sure about it but my friends are doing internships and they are happy with it. College helps us and the place is really great. And I heard some girl had a package of 3 Lacs in foreign country.
Infrastructure: Food is great, veg food has many varieties you get a lot of space to sit and there are several canteens to eat so no problem if public is there. And it really great because there are many options to eat inside of the college. They apply GST kn students which they should not because we are students why taking from us .
Faculty: It depends which you are how hard you study. If you are interested in your particular choose course you will pass it easily and teachers also helps a lot. And if you fails you have to clear the exams till then you have to continue your studies and clear you all exams so it would be easier for yourself to handle others things without focusing on exams .

Other: I study in Somaiya and we have the best of renowned and dedicated faculty. The whole curriculum is designed to provide flexibility to students to choose among interdisciplinary subjects as per one’s personal interests and choices. The campus provides an awesome range of facilities and infrastructure for sports and fitness, on par with the best in the world, a meagre fee as the institute is government run.

Other: Good but could have been better. Loved campus it's huge but fee and everything not worth. Go for Somaiya in case u want to enjoy your college life and faculty wise it's ok not so good but not even bad but if u want to have fun then you are at wrong place.

Other: The college was good and main thing the professor are very good and teaching is very good. And there is no need to join coaching classes if u attend college regularly. To others I would strongly recommend to join because of teaching and having big campus to enjoy and also clean and tidiness.

Overall, it is a good college to study in.
Placements: There are no placements yet for our batch. Placements are offered in good companies across Mumbai city and suburban Mumbai and Thane. Schools like DSB School, Shishuvan School at Matunga, Somaiya School, Poddar School and other good schools visit our college for placements.
Infrastructure: The library is good here. There is quite a number of books in the library for a variety of subjects ranging right from school textbooks to compendiums. There are books on the teaching of commerce, mathematics, science, psychology, sociology, history, geography and English language. There are also Hindi translated versions of some important books. There is a water cooler facility, and the toilets are decent enough. There are printers, but students are not allowed to use them. Our classroom is a multipurpose hall which can be used for lectures as well as guest lectures and to celebrate important days. Our classroom has two green boards and a projector screen stacked between them. Wi-Fi facility is not available, but the management says that it will soon install it. The food available in the canteen is nice.
Faculty: Teachers here are helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. The teaching quality differs from teacher to teacher, and overall, it is above average. Teachers guide us to attend our lessons during the internship period. They either have a master's degree or a PhD. Most of our lectures are conducted by our teachers using PowerPoint presentations. The course curriculum is relevant.
Other: I chose this course as I like teaching. It encourages us to learn and use different methods of teaching. I wish that our college should provide a Wi-Fi facility. We get a chance to participate or organise co-curricular activities.

Somaiya, the dream of every student.
Placements: GI am going to Somaiya from the last year. It is a good college and campus too. The campus is immensely huge and it has almost 6-7 institutes in it. In the year when I was enrolled in KJ Somaiya, the first merit list was closed at 85% and the Third merit list was closed at 71% for open class and 57% for Gujrati minority. It is a Gujarati college. And, therefore Gujrati has many benefits in this college. Many institutes are merged with Somaiya for the benefit of the students. Those institutes offer different courses like the value-added course, NSS, tuition for professional courses. Like this many companies visit Somaiya for fresher employees. In last years companies like Wipro. Pvt. Ltd, Reliance. Pvt. Ltd, and many companies.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the Somaiya campus is highly developed. The Somaiya is occupied in around 60 acres. The whole campus has free Wi-Fi for the student. In SK Somaiya classrooms are good, but in SJ Somaiya, the classrooms are very dull and so facilitate. There is a separate department for sports in Somaiya. And many events organized every year. There are 4-5 canteens in the campus. The food and staff are very delicious and good quality. I haven't face any infrastructure related issues until now.
Faculty: The college is known for its faculty members and quality education. The faculty members are well qualified and also well experienced. The college is an autonomous college it has its syllabus. The college is submerged with Mumbai university but the syllabus is not as per university. But in the final year result, the hard copy of the result will show both names of KJ Somaiya and Mumbai University.
Other: The somaiya is very crowded college, but not campus is very good, big, and as well as very well developed. There is every year fest is organized. Commonly call Parvaaz.

Review of somaiya vidyavihar. Really a best college according to my experience.
Placements: Training programs are conducted for the students to enable them to face interviews. Besides these on every Thursday newspaper cuttings related to job vacancies are put up on placement notice board. Every year students are benefited through the placement cell by means of their recommendations to various institutions.
Infrastructure: These are architecturally well designed spacious buildings located at picturesque site, spread over vast expanse of beautiful landscape. Science lab with all apparatus, computer lab, music room, are available to each and every student.
Faculty: Students feel safe to express their feelings and learn to respect and listen to others. The mutual respect in teachers classroom provides a support, collaborative environment. In this small community, there are rules to follow that each students is aware. The course offered by this institution is very helpful and useful for students.
Other: Mostly, the upper class people of Mumbai study here, as well as people from all over India from Jammu to thrissur come here to study. The crowd is awesome. The college organised major fests, technical fests, which is known as abhiyantriki. National level sports fest, known as skream and cultural fest, known as symphony are conducted. Our college also conducts various extracurricular activities.
